no reason to not have shotclocks in basketball
one of the schools we played at didnt have a shotclock and our girls team would just hold the ball above the 3pt line for 30-45 seconds before starting to run a play

What I hate, is that guys like Barkley get on TV and spread that **** about staying in school and because it sounds good, people are going to go with it 
It's so one sided and IMO wrong sided. Like yeah these are young 18-20 year old men, of course their games could use improvements but by most accounts, they are top tier NBA level prospects. If they are on that kind of scale, what the hell are they going to gain playing against teams that use crazy defensive schemes, painfully slow paces, and overall filler level athletes and players? They are young, NBA level players. Let them improve against players that they actually mirror who they are supposed to be and match their potential.

Barkley would be vocally pissed off about even needing to go to college if he was growing up in this era. Please. He would be itching for those dollars
I hate the AAU helping destroy funtementals as much as the next guy. But I can't in good conscious prevent someone from earning a paycheck. Football I understand because you will get physically injured. But I'm not for making GMs and owners have an easier way to determine who won't be a bust at the detriment to someone earning a paycheck. Same owners that are all ra ra capitalism. It's frankly unamerican.

You should be able to reapply to school if you enter the draft but don't get picked. Don't allow them to return to the same school and/or conference. Make them sit out one year as a redshirt and go to class. Put an age cap on returnees. That way if things don't to as expected it doesn't ruin the kids future
