The refs dont want to make a call in that situation. Add to the fact that CP3 was the one guarding him, yea no shot they call that.

But yes a forearm/fist to the midsection on a jumpshot is a foul. If it was Shumpert guarding him Curry woulda got the call.

CP3 recovered, and while doing that, his forearm and Steph's waist collided, that's incidental contact on the play. Steph at the apex of his jumper tried to sell it, and it didn't work.

Bro, what are you even talking about right now?  You just said his forearm collided with Curry's waist.  

His ENTIRE FOREARM.  You can't do that what someone is shooting.  That's a foul, incidental or not.  

  Refs don't say, "well, he didn't mean to molest his whole torso with the entire length of his forearm, so I'm not calling that".  Whether you meant the contact or not, contact of that magnitude on a shooter is a foul.  

It really is that simple.

Did Curry try to sell it?  Hell yeah he did.  But he tried to sell it AFTER the forearm shiver from Paul.
