and yet, if harden even plays somewhat close to what he's capable of, we're up 2-0 heading to portland to sweep them..

But they're not, so it's not even worth discussing. :D

Well, it's not like I'm saying they should be up

Honestly it's been a fun series. Very stressful on this end. Both games were winnable, we just didn't do it. The optimist in me hopes Aldridge can't stay this hot and harden can't stay this cold

We can't keep giving Russ a pass, miss me with the "oh, he just had a bad game" BS :smh: At some point dude has to realize his way is NOT the way. Yes, he made some clutch shots down the stretch but other than that he was awful. It's one thing to be a scoring PG when you're taking smart and efficient shots, but son just be out here chucking. The Thunder can not win a championship with Russ taking 25+ shots per game.

But like I said last night, fire Scott Brooks.

He ain't gonna average 40 on a series. Harden, though, that's something to worry about.

Kd needs shooters

Been saying this for 3 years now. They need a sniper on the team. There has to be somebody on the team that is a threat to light it up when the defense collapses on KD.

Miami has a few and its won him 2 rings. When they were looking down and out in game 6 last year...they put 4 shooters around him and told him to attack.

Daequan Cook blew his chance

Lamb and PJ3 (when he plays more than 0.9 seconds) can shoot, and certainly more athletic which is our whole advantage to this team or should be. At this point, Butler is shooting 20 somethnig % from the field and a minus in every aspect of the game, ditto Fisher, Thabo and Perkins at least defended well last night, but I don't get the rationale behind not playing them. Even if they come out there and poop their pants, that's not worse than what Butler, Jackson, Fisher, and Collison have been doing.

KD is at 34% USG and Russ is at 39%. I'm pretty sure that's a record, know it is for a duo but let me double check.

Memphis lost the first and made their adjustments. OKC has yet to adjust to them. Their offense just looks like a bunch of bail out last second shots

It's been like that for the season.
Ever since they traded Harden, ball movement and pace staggers more often.

Believe me, I know. I've pretty much watched every single OKC game. They play a highschool type "pass it to Will" ( fresh prince reference) game. They need shooters? They have them, they just don't get to play because brooks would rather stick to his 4 year old line up no matter what.

just for the record,

steven adams, started 20 games for the thunder and has played 15 mins this whole series (12 of which came in game 1)

perry jones III, started 7 games for the team and has played less than a min this whole series

jeremy lamb, played in 78 games for the team during the season and hasnt played in any of the games

andre roberson, started 16 games for the team and has been on the inactive list the whole series

OKC down 2-1
IND down 2-1

I'm going to enjoy this moment while it lasts these next 48 hours. If only the first round were a Best of 5. Fix It Silver!!

*Not sure what to think of the Harden trade anymore*

Oh wait.

It's still bad.

Don't they upload Inside on nba.com somewhere where I can watch it
They use to, but I'm not sure if they still do that anymore.

Watched the replay of Inside this morning. They completely cut out that "kissed **** on the mouth" segment.

who is he going pass it to?

seriously?

KD looks like a kid who straight up has to give his lunch money to tony allen every game.. perkins cant catch a cold.. ibaka is playing hot potato with the ball.. butler was 0-5 last night (and 1-4 in game 2) .. derek fisher was 1-3 (and 2-5 in game 2) .. and reggie jackson was 2-9 (and 0-5 in game 2).. and nick collison is the only other player scott brooks plays

So true. Brooks is gonna be fired by the end of the season if this keeps up, unless OKC mangement wants to continue its streak of 1st/2nd round exits

Those kids ain't the answer, either. Flawed roster from being cheap.
and we know this by them sitting on the bench?

i mean it's not like the guys who are playing now are setting the world on fire

Well, I mean, Aldridge averaged 27 & 15 against the Rockets during the regular season. He's probably going to get his regardless.

Even so, Dame even had a 3-14, 19 point night, Batum scored 6 points in game 2 (Wes only scored 9), and the Blazers got a whopping 7 points off the bench in game 1. It's not like they're playing flawless basketball, either, LMA is just covering those points up.

I still don't feel easy about the series if it makes you feel any better. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if the Blazers found a way to lose 4 of these next games. :smh:
