can someone save all the quotes in here about OKC's cheap ownership holding the team back?

just to bring up next time someone is crying about how its so unfair for small market teams and that big markets always get all the good stuff
I wish the Vancouver Grizzlies were still around so you could root for them

Everything you just said plays into why Brooks is a bad coach, though.

Good coaches adjust, move pieces around, and put the proper lineups in. Right now, he's not doing any of that. Same crap over and over.

But what honestly is he supposed to do? I mean like I said, his rotations need some serious adjustments and I get that,

but he's doing what most coaches ideally would want to do. They want to play through their best players and put their best players in positions to be most effective IMO he has done that. There aren't that many sets that are ran in the playoffs anyway, especially down the stretch. It isn't brooks that's being pushed out to the 3 point line and midway to half. It isn't brooks floating around and not getting good positioning.

Just my take though. I'm not a brooks apologist or anything, but there's not much more he, or most could do given the situation.

It's been like that for the season.
Ever since they traded Harden, ball movement and pace staggers more often.

Believe me, I know. I've pretty much watched every single OKC game. They play a highschool type "pass it to Will" ( fresh prince reference) game. They need shooters? They have them, they just don't get to play because brooks would rather stick to his 4 year old line up no matter what.
No they need proven veteran shooters like how miami got ray allen okc needs to go after someone similar

They cant have thabo taking corner threes

Okc has a perfect setup with kd russ and serge now they just need role players and energy players that can knockdown threes and rebound

I still got OKC winning this series in 7 but they HAVE to get game 4 now. They're due to pull one of these close ones out

Part of me wants them to lose just so brooks gets canned. I swear he's not even a better coach than half of us lol

where does their inside scoring come from tho? Ibaka takes jumpers and perkins just cleans up missed shots.

I want to say no one dependable will sign in OKC, but I guess Fisher and Butler debunk that.

But then again, are they considered dependable?

Beno Udrih is, apparently, not playing around. The veteran stepped in at the backup point guard last night and carried over his performance from Game 2—you know, the one we thought was a fluke—by racking up 12 points on 5 of 6 shooting (that's an eFG% of 91.7%, which is just stupid) in 14 minutes of play, some of which was spent off the ball in a super-small Conley/Udrih/Lee/Miller/Koufos lineup. Yes, you read that correctly: that is a real lineup used in an actual playoff game, and it worked. At any rate, Udrih's play has been a revelation, even as Nick Calathes had established himself as an important piece of the rotation puzzle. Udrih has stepped up in a big way. I still can't believe the Knicks cut him.

The Grizzlies have got to be a little better at knowing when to do something besides (1) run clock or (2) post Z-Bo up in late game situations. It's been a recurring thing over the last few weeks, not just the playoffs. The Grizzlies have a bit of a lead going down the stretch, and they hold the ball and start to get slower than they need to be. It's not the first time those plays (Z-Bo iso postups against double—or triple—teams) have happened and hurt the Grizzlies in the final minute or two of a game.

Speaking of Zach Randolph, at some point the Grizzlies have got to stop forcing it in to Randolph. The Z-Bo Isolation Project just doesn't work against OKC with the same efficiency that it works against teams that don't have good post defenders, and instead of getting good looks it's blowing up what little offense the Griz have to start with. There's a reason Randolph's shooting percentages in this series have mostly been abysmal: defending the post against other big slow dudes is literally the only thing Kendrick Perkins is good at. Nick Collison is another great defender. Serge Ibaka is too long and athletic for Z-Bo to get a good look. Steven Adams is apparently made out of granite. Do something besides isolate against any combination of two of those guys.
I always want former Spurs to Thrive. The only former Spur I dont really care for is George Hill.

Who was scoring inside for miami? I guess u can say bosh but hes more of a stretch 4 in my opinion.
They dont need a legit inside scoring threat if durant develops a post game.

Durant has to be better against Memphis. Every team is going through their stars in the playoffs, and essentially runs some version of an iso from 6 minutes on down in the fourth anyway. TA is awesome, but Durant can't let TA be this stellar on defense. That's what's either going to win or lose this series for OKC. OKC can't do anything efficiently on offense because everything they do is precedented on KD and he's allowing TA to flat out be incredible.

Yo, volleyball mass needs its own definition or something. It's THAT amazing. In HS we used the term "big willie style" to mean an umbrella term for the greatest. So big willie style was the biggest, the fastest, the most expensive, the tastiest, etc. "Yo, thanks for giving me the answers to that test, I owe you big willie style!"

Volleyball mass is def big willie style
