"I mean a lot to our team," said James, a four-time league MVP. "Obviously, the game is different [today]. If this was the 1980s, I'd come up swinging. But this is not the '80s. I can't do that. Me being out of the game, it hurts us more than it's going to hurt the other team. I've got to keep my composure. I get frustrated at times, but I understand how much I mean to this team."

Dat perceptive :pimp:

I agree with LBJ to an extent. Everyone keeps talking about how it was back in the day and players would get clotheslined and elbowed etc. but the fact of the matter is the NBA is no longer like that. Im not saying I neccessarily enjoy it this way but it is what it is

Man Westbrook gotta be the one to say something about Brooks because we know KD ain't gonna do it.

Bruh watch a 30 for 30 and think he ready.

He'll gladly advance on one of his own teammates tho...

So that's his excuse .. clever

At some point Bron just needs to stop letting these dudes chump him. Especially these wanna be goons. The fact that he's quick to bark and get in his teammates face (Charlmers) but doesn't say anything to McRoberts is mind blowing. Not saying you gotta throw fist but c'mon Bron don't fold up like a lawn chair then tell us "this isn't the 80s" :smh:

MJ took a beating for a while then he finally said enough is enough and stop letting dudes rag doll him.

Again we live in a Post Palace NBA, so fighting is a big no no. I don't get what's so hard to understand about that. What good comes out of Bron deciding to act tough and retaliating? He gets some internet props and then a suspension from the league. Yup that's definitely the smart move.
