They were +15 this year, but they struggled? Get outta here. With better coaching, they're sniffing 50 wins this season. No question.
They have a solid foundation between Wall/Beal/Nene/Gortat...not to mention their bench is very good.
On top of it all, they have options as far as cap space and roster moves (Ariza).
They're fine.

The only path for Melo to the Bulls that makes any plausible sense (which I think is the smartest choice for him) is for the Bulls to amnesty Boozer, and trade Taj Gibson for a future draft pick, CANNOT take any salary back. Would give the Bulls $20mil in cap space with 9 players. Melo would have to sign for $19mil ($4.5mil less than he could get on a max deal). Could add $1mil more if they trade Tony Snell as well.
Go SF with the 16th pick (Hood, Grant, Warren, Earley all projected around this range). Butler starts at the 2, Melo 4. No really good options for the 4 at 16. If that was the case, could have drafted a 4.
20th I would go with Adreian Payne. Backup PF. Not ready to start.
2nd Round go with a big or another PG.
Use whatever money of the MLE that is left after re-signing Augustin for a backup Center.

Bro, admittedly Kobe's defense has fallen off a cliff these past few years, but it STILL isn't as consistently bad as Harden's is currently. And at least Kobe has the small excuse that he is an old *** man
, James Harden is still a young buck dude should be full of energy. Like on a lot of those plays, he literally gave ZERO effort, his man would just dribble by him.

Only team I could see him possibly going to is Chicago. They're not loaded with talent but Thibs is the real deal.
