The blue in the Thunder's jersey is from the state flag

The Oklahoma state flag honors more than 60 groups of Native Americans and their ancestors. The blue field comes from a flag carried by Choctaw soldiers during the civil war. The center shield is the battle shield of an Osage warrior. It is made of buffalo hide and decorated with eagle feathers.

Presti, our GM, is from the Spurs umbrella (boring, simplistic) and everything the organization does, especially from a design standpoint, havily leans that way from the slogans, to the commercials, etc. As vanilla and non offensive as possible, sans for the Thunder girls who ironically show probably too much skin and do straight stripper routines at times. All those corny *** playoff shirts they give us are like Thunder is team, team is community, We are team, Thunder is community, We are Thunder, Lets Go Thunder, Team is 18206, etc.

if you hate our jerseys though, you have to also hate the Mavs, Grizzlies, and Bobcats too which are 95% or more the exact same, they even recycling fonts. Adidas and their "templates"

I'm not a big fan of any of these jerseys though the Mavs and Grizzlies have slightly more distinctive colors.

I did notice the "We Are Committed" shirts which seemed like a weird motto for a basketball game

It's the same colors dude, ours just inverted with the lighter blue being the primary. Navy blue, lighter blue, white, silver, and then we have orange trim where Memphis has yellow and Dallas doesn't have a 3rd color on their trim and the Bobcats also have orange.

The Bobcats navy warmups are the almost exact same as our navy road ones

Screw a rebrand the Raptors just need to make the Dino era jerseys their main. Hopefully the Hornets jerseys are just a subtle updated 90s version but I have a feeling they'll be an abomination like the current Magic unis

Our jerseys suck but they are what they are. Wish we could go back to round neck collar jerseys like the old Champion jersets instead of the square kind they make now.
