My absolute favourite thing about pickup is shooting for calls. The easiest way to dead all the complaining .

My YMCA is like this. You never get to run on the main court only the side ones. It just makes it easier to shoot from deep because no one steps out far but the loss of it value makes me not want to shoot it

I haven't played in a gym in the longest those places usually have locals and those locals only pick up there boys and if you don't win there's 20 people waiting to get downs and you never get back on the court again with your people.

I do, that old school "pop a shot" mini basketball type shot from the Arcade in the Mall or Dave and Busters. Bank those shots Dwight, bank them

That was also the rules my neighborhood played by. If tied at game point it became win by 2.

Thing I hate is exactly what you just said, when you got someone who don't box out. Whoever he's guarding... is about to FEAST... and ain't nothing I can do about it. Well, I'll usually end up leaving my guy to keep THAT GUY's guy out of the lane, but then THAT GUY can't guard MY guy, so now my ORIGINAL guy's about to feast.

*no but for real, I don't miss from long range. You'd think I'd love make it, take it. Hate it, though.
