Scott Brooks was given a series of young, talented players.  They all reached their potential as players and became stars AND they reached their potential as a team, together, built great chemistry with one another, play great defense, and became one of the best teams in the league without having a dominant veteran presence transported in.

Do you know how many coaches would fail/have failed to achieve that????

And Scott Brooks is a bad coach now.

Joakim Noah’s NBA-leading 4 triple-doubles this season are the most by a Bull since Michael Jordan & Scottie Pippen each had 4 in 1992-93.

His problem is with adjustments, or lack there of. He has a game plan that works 80% of the time. Problem is that 20% it doesn't is when it counts.

No its because you bring up the lakers everytime someone bashes the heat lol you even call some people laker fans when they arent even laker fans. You seem to think everyone that bashes the heat is a laker fan

Brooks isnt going to prevent OKC from winning the chip IMO if they fall short.

I used a factual number and you still don't wanna listen. K. I forget that this thread is also the "I watch basketball on TV better than you do" thread.

The (supposed) second round in the west is gonna be lovely

OKC v. LAC
HOU v. SA

:smokin

Take it back a round
Sa v pho
Hou v por
Lac v gsw
OKC v dal

All will be highly entertaining.

durant is just plain nasty
7'1 with them handles and touch from the outside :x

has doug collins dropped a mj reference yet?

Everytime I hear people praise durant, he grows. He's gonna be 7'3 by the time his career is over man

He isn't 7'1, but he's as tall as Dwight Howard I think

If you can't post a picture on here, then you can't ask for it in PMs.

It's not Iggy anyway, Iggy has tattoos.

Everyone was thirsting over that pic on Twitter last night. I say iggy isn't special, just another big butt, and get flamed for it. Come to find, it's not her, and people were thirsting over just another big butt :smh:

My Heat team, are out there playing like the Miami Lakers.....smh

Jesus you seem more obsessed with the lakers than acb lol

Word. Post reeked of estrogen. Lakers had nothing to do with anything but you went out your way to talk about em.

Just read threw 15 pages from last night. It's hilarious that certain players, or topics are just bat signals for certain posters.

Just curious, where in the world are you coming up with those %s

You're right

Thunder is 57-21
It actually works 71% of the time. I was being too generous with my estimation.

Yeah...except your factual number literally does nothing to hurt or help your argument. Completely unrelated.

Where did any one bring up the heat?
I simply said they are playing like the lakers how they played last night.

Show me where any one just said anything about the Heat for me to bring up the lakers.

I am slandering the Heat as well...smh

Oh and Im sorry if i figure someone is a laker fan because they have a KOBE Avi...smh MY BAD

How is their record a reflection of whether or not Brooks' game plan worked or not? There are too many variables in a game to just say it was because of the gameplan.

To just blatantly say

Problem is that 20% it doesn't is when it counts.

sounds completely subjective. Hence why i asked how you came up with that. Bringing up their team record isnt relevant.

I mean I'm not saying OKC fans can't be right about Brooks.  If you watch every game of a team you do notice things about certain coaches.  I'm just personally a little skeptical...  Not sure I've seen that evidence.

It's the typical "I know better" NBA coach criticism.
Pretty much. We all have our opinions and theories about basketball but some folks act like if a coach played Micheal Beasley or Jeremy Lamb it would have made all the difference in the world. Some folks act like they have the best rotations. That's why we're typing here and the coaches aren't.

OKC is known to blow leads (15-20pts) and not rotate players according to the current situation on the court. Last night was a perfect example.

Offensively the rotations are a no brainer. Defensively is where he falls short. How many players have career nights against OKC? How many leads are blown during the beginning of the 2nd/4thqrt due to that same rotation he uses during that time?
