They ran plenty of Dwight screen and rolls.

These are two evenly matched teams, the rockets got some bad bounces. Its not that serious.

Victory =/= Virtue.

Portland won, it doesn't mean they are better in any significant way.

it would really be funny if a white warriors fan brings one of his black friends to the next warriors game, would love to see a picture of that happening

If I'm the rockets coach, GM, harden whoever.. I'm showing Dwight tapes of what harden and collison did with the pick n roll with the thunder..

With Dwight's athleticism, if someone could just get him to buy in, him and harden would do wonders

they have one of the best centers and one of the best SGs, idk how you dont run the PnR every damn time

this. we run a lot of PnR. the problem is our bad floor spacing. we run it in the middle of the court instead of on the wings which makes it tougher on the roll man becuase help can come from either side. also, we don't isolate a defender to make the helper on the PnR to open up 3 point shooting. we play the most basic form of pickup basketball on offense

Might just be me but did anyone else see Mo Williams foot out of bounds when he saved the steal off Lin that led to the e game leading 3 in regulation? Only got a chance to see it in full speed a couple times and each time his foot looked out to me as he touched the ball.

ut da ball don't lie.. If he was on da out of bounds then the 3 would of never made it...

LaMarcus looking like Tyrone Biggums' brother in the post game presser.

Dwight should be averaging 35 20 against lopez im sorry. Enough is enough with this guy hes just soft internally

It's a shame that points and rebounds are all you(and shaq) look at when it comes to Dwight. Dude has dominated the last two games. When Dwight's been on LMA, he's virtually shut him down. Only bucket LMA has put up on Dwight was a highly contested fadeaway in the 3rd quarter today(in two games) He's been a beast defensively, controlled the paint and the glass. Those two blocks Dwight had in crunch time today were :smokin

dwight has been nothing short of amazing this whole series. to say anything contrary is ridiculous.

i didn't see mo williams step out, but i'm still outraged about the flagrant call, and the out of bounds call on dwight when LMA CLEARLY knocked it out. also thought dwight got fouled on the first possession of overtime when they dove to the floor

wasn't a flagrant foul, but i didn't see them changing the call. it was a good, hard playoff foul, but LMA went flying backwards so it made it look a lot worse than it actually was. if parsons had made just a little more effort to make a play on the ball instead of just going for the foul, then maybe it would have been overturned. dwight has definitely been fouled harden than that this series, but since he's able to eat them, it doesn't look as bad.

once again iffy calls down the stretch that went portland's way, but game still should have been won by us in regulation. little plays end up being the difference and the blazers are making that extra effort and we just aren't.

Harden shot selection is the #1 problem....but its lin and Howards fault.

every aspect of hardens game has been whack this whole series

rockets would be up 3-1 if you replace harden with derosen

Derozan's been doing the same stuff. He's just getting a more favorable wh9istle. His team is just winning.

Derozan is almost as bad as Harden on D.

derosen has been better on offense and defense, he plays to score not to flop and draw fouls. his team is winning partly because of his play, while the rockets won game 3 despite hardens poor defense and ballhogging

in a very close series like this one its the difference from being 3-1 and 1-3

harden is houstons biggest problem on offense AND defense, it is literally impossible for a player of his skill level to hurt a team more than he did these past 4 games

you can put nick young in james hardens place and the series would probably be 2-2

You probably haven't watch much DeRozan in the regular season I'm assuming. Dude can't handle the rock and I rather trust Harden chucking up 20 shots a night than DeRozan. I honestly believe Lowry is more crucial to his team than DeRozan is even though he is balling out this postseason.

Back to the Por V. Hou series I'm shocked Mchale hasn't tried to expose Lillard on defense yet. I feel like every position is matched up well besides Dwight>Lopez but Mchale should honestly look into it. Too bad Houston doesn't have a better PG because Damian was always our weakest link on D. Lin and Beverly been doing good, but they look shook when it matters most in crucial possessions.

Keep in mind Derozans playing the Nets while Hardens playing the Blazers. Pierce and JJ ain't guarding anyone at this point while Matthews has done a great job and Hardens getting no whistles. Derozans not even their first option right now either, Lowry is.
