what crime did he commit?

even if the NBA tried to force him out, i'd assume the taped recording is inadmissible. most states i believe, both parties need to be aware of the recording for it be admissible in a court of law.

You get Elgin Baylor to testify about dude bringing girlfriends and what not into the locker room combined with the audio tape and I think you have a case for a hostile work environment.
