But who exactly is saying that Paul SHOULD be held in the same regard as Kidd, Payton, etc.? In TODAY'S NBA, he's the best PG....but he's got a ways to go before talking about him in the same breath as some of the other guys I mentioned.

I can't wait for Joerger to start Tayshaun Prince again.

After that headline, he should've went ahead and started TA at SF to at least prevent Durant from a scoring outburst.

I don't get why he isn't already anyways. Tayshaun in Memphis living off championship reputation just like the 3 dudes on our roster apparently.

there were people in this thread at the start of the season agreeing with this garbage and others calling the guy a generational talent

OKB has routinely referred to him as the best PG since Magic.

This isn't like the regular season when KD is shooting 52% and WB is shooting 42% They're both in the 30's from the field and 20's from 3. Serge is the one who needs to be getting more shots but same time he passes them up in the 4th like the ball is on fire

Nope

KD 41.2%
WB 35.6%

If you're a basketball fan like i know you guys all are, we have really been blessed these past few months with hoops.

March Madness was legendary. the tournament was ******* amazing :pimp:

Now the 1st round is the best one in a while :pimp:

Greatness.

Oh, ****...my bad. Didnt know that CP3 as an all-time great was really out there. I'm a huge fan of the guy, but carry on w/ the slander.

If you primarily stick to the rule book, he should get suspended. All because it may ruin a potential great Game 7, then it goes against the rules. Simple as that. If this incident occurred in the regular season, would he get suspended? I think the league just needs to be consistent because it may backfire on them in the future if a similar incident occurs again.

Durant hit 5 of his first 7 shots or so, then Memphis called timeout...when I saw Tayshaun Prince still in I couldn't help but to laugh.

Absolutely man. Bball this year has been so legit.

Tayshaun hasn't been good in Memphis? I haven't seen many memphis games to see him play.

Hell nah. He's been terrible ALL season. Even when the team played well while he was injured and they started James Johnson, the coach inserted him back into the lineup like he was crucial to their success.

Prince thinks he's just as crucial to success. He's played while sick, injured, etc. He even quoted one time "I feel like the team needs me, so I'm going to give it a go tonight". :x

thats the thing, if they choose to ignore the rule now, they start to lose the integrity behind making rules. Then it's like well why'd did you suspend me now, paul george did the same exact thing. You make a rule, you gotta enforce it, even if that means making the hard decisions. Silver is laying the groundwork for his tenure..each decision means something.

have people always cared so much about regular season stats?

advanced stats guys are always quick to throw chris paul or james harden's regular season stats at me while im watching their favorite players choke away another playoff series

what happened to the you're nothing till you do something in the playoffs days?

i bet tmac would have loved to have people focusing on his regular season stats while being bounced in the first round every year

if these stats guys were around in the 80s and 90s they would have already crowned MJ as the greatest player ever before 91

According to the stats folks there's no such thing as "choking" or "being clutch" or "being in a zone" etc. They believe there is no difference between playoff and regular season. They're going to disregard results like Harden's when they don't fit their beliefs.

have a couple bad games in the regular season and no one cares

have a couple bad games in the playoffs and you're going home

You ever think the reason y'all argue like a bunch of broads in the salon every day over stupid **** is because you never find a middle ground? It's either one extreme end of the spectrum or the other extreme end of the spectrum. There hasn't been a middle ground in this thread for years
