I personally have never met a Clippers, Patriots, Heat, Seahawks, Sonics/Thunder fan in person before they started winning. Funny how that works out.
I'm sure you've met at least one of those at 1 time or another
I'm assuming that person has never been to Boston, Seattle, or Miami....

Instinct was to look up Jamaal Magliore, the worst All-Star I could remember....  But he actually averaged 11 and 9 in the playoffs that year.

Never seen one in Maryland. I've seen many after the winning started. Where your from do you see heavy representation of every team in every league or something?

How the **** can Hibbert be so bad overnight? This dude is really making Kwame Brown look like a 1st ballot hall of fame center right now. :x

I live in NYC, and I didn't know a single Sonics/Seahawks fan here growing up outside of my family.  That said I didn't know any Ravens or Wizards fans either, that doesn't mean I would assume there wasn't a fanbase unless they were winning.

Bron put on 10 extra pounds now hes up to 270, bc of the physical beating he knew he would take from Bulls and Pacers...dude is a monster

Heat gonna coast to the ECF.

Every team has a fan base but there's no doubt that when a team is winning you see more of that teams fans than ever before. That's in every sport.

Of course.  If a team has a wide national fanbase you can usually presume that's because they've picked up bandwagoners when winning.

That what I was talking about, the bandwagon bunch. Unrelated but I dread the next NBA 2k. Wizards will become more popular, like the Skins usage in Madden once RG3 arrived.
