2 teams in southern california and 2 teams in northern california seem fair.

Ryan Gomes is going to Boston. He was only making the minimum, only 75k of it guaranteed, so I don't see the point in trading him at all unless they just see it as doing him a favor by sending him to another team thus keeping him in the NBA versus cutting him. FWIW, he seems like a really nice guy when I see him in all the off the court stuff and everyone appeared to like him. Edit never mind, Stein says Boston expected to waive him. Brings our roster to 13 so hopefully another ensuing move to happen

Protected 2017 pick from Memphis. I didn't even know you could protect 2nd rd picks. Move only saved the Thunder 75k versus waiving him themselves, but got a pic for throwing him in a salary ballast and brings us to 1.8mil below the tax line and 2 open roster spots. Looking very likely to be Manny Harris, kind of meh to me. He did win DLeague player of the week today but shoots way too many 3s for someone of his percentage, seems like a chucker and is undersized for a 2. Sam Amico reported he has already been in town interviewing with the f.o types
