Lowry's been really good for years.

His teams not making the playoffs in the West and his demeanor just hurt him.

He has a history of not getting along with certain coaches but he's definitely got a positive attitude and is a guy you want to have as your teammate.

Lowry>wall this season

That's not true at all. Wall has to lead his team in scoring every night, Lowry doesn't have as much responsibility as Wall and puts up inferior numbers.

Kyle Lowry
16 ppg
7.5 apg
4.2 rpg
19.62 PER
42.9 fg %
39.5 3p %
79.1 ft%
1.6 spg

John Wall
20.0 ppg
8.5 rpg
4.3 rpg
20.05 PER
42.3 FG %
32.5 3p %
84.1 ft %
1.9 spg

Wall outpaces Lowry in PPG, APG, RPG, SPG, BPG and FT percent. Lowry beats Wall slightly in fg percent even tho he takes less shot had has less defensive attention. Lowry also is the better outside shooter and thats it. They both are good defenders with an equal 104 defensive rating. Also you are comparing a 27 year old Lowry to a 23 Wall and he still gets crushed. Lowry has never been the best player on his own team at any point in his career. There is a reason he is on his 3rd team already.

Wall is given the chance to be the first option on his team though. Lowry is second fiddle to a player who averages 22 ppg so that's why Wall has him beat in points. All the other stats are nearly identical except for assists, but his assist numbers were down during the Rudy Gay period.

20/4/8 and defense playing with as mediocre a roster you'll find but he's overrated though

The roster isn't as mediocre ESPECIALLY in the East as yall may think. And the roster looks even better on paper when you compare it to the majority of the league. Watch the games and see how he gets his 20 and 8. Wall always puts up better numbers than the performance if that makes sense....

Damn how is LMA letting David Lee of all people shut him down tho?
David Lee's ineptitude as a defender is overstated honestly. He's gotten so much better in the last two years but the label of being a poor defender just will never leave him.
You're my dude and all......but this is Laughable.
That's Graphic was part of my point. Dude was playing the 5 for the Warriors for so long, he was clearly out of his element. Sine Bogut has been healthy, he's been much better playing against players he matched up better with it.

If David Lee is your primary rim protector then there's a huge issue.
Sorry dude, but I just cant get with your stance here.  So you essentially saying that Lee is garbage on D when he isnt paired with a great interior defender to masks his inefficiencies?  That's what you are basically saying.  Lee hasn't been "playing much better" as you put it.  His horrible play is simply, at times, being hidden by the fact that he is playing next to a great interior defender.

And even with that said, watching Warrior games (and specifically focusing on Lee on the defensive side), you will see that nothing has changed.  He is still getting abused by other power forwards.  Then sometimes coach Jackson moves Lee off of a power forward that he cant defend, and then the new guy Lee is supposed to cover ends up scoring.  Also, Lee's defensive rotations are a joke.  He switches to players when he isn't supposed to, and on the flipside, he offers no help when he is supposed to switch to another player.

In any given game.....I swear, the player Lee is guarding, the player Lee is supposed to help on, or the player Lee's teammate (that has to come over and help him because he is incapable of guarding his own man) is supposed to guard, accounts for like 40 points a game.  I wish I was exaggerating.

As someone who watches a lot of Warrior games, it shocks me that you dont see this.

Oh no hes still closer to bad than good, but is he "the worst interior defender in the league" as was the popular opinion two years ago? I dont think so. That label was a product of him being the only big the Knicks and the Warriors had. He cant be your center ever. His switches are still pretty bad but I think hes gotten much better on the ball. Its not always there, but from time to time he can lock in and hold his own.

Dragic > Lowry

I'm very aware of what Lowry's been up to and I commend him, but w/o looking at the numbers Dragic has been a lot more efficient in addition to doing numbers in the western conference... LeGoran shredding up that almighty Indiana defense last week was pure.

See America, Richard Sherman can talk using his inside voice. Nothing to see here
