He came up clutch and won his 2nd straight championship. That's really all that needs to be said about the finals you can say he had a pretty abysmal shooting effort but really...so? It was good enough to win and net him another Finals MVP in the process.
that's the difference between me and most Lebron stans though. I can acknowledge that he's great and will be a first ballot HOFer...but still break down a specific of his game. I'm an objective fan of basketball, so when everyone's chosen 1 has "the decision" to bring superstars who can score in bunches, shooters to stand on the receiving end of his passes, and a coach that is emphasizing Defense....I take it into consideration.
I also take into consideration when elite coaches come in and take away all of your strengths as a TEAM and dare you to use the superstar's weakness to beat him. When everyone starts shunning me for saying there are guys whose games are more complete/more effective/less able to be neutralized, the Lebron stans come in and raise hell.
So yes, he'll be decorated at a crazy level and will be a very accomplished individual. However, he's not sniffing my top 5 if he doesnt drastically improve his weaknesses. EVERYBODY in my top 5 drastically improved/addressed their weaknesses....and there's a young man by the name of Kevin Durant who has done that and we are all watching it unfold before our eyes. but the Lebron stans aren't being very receptive.
