He came up clutch and won his 2nd straight championship. That's really all that needs to be said about the finals  you can say he had a pretty abysmal shooting effort but really...so? It was good enough to win and net him another Finals MVP in the process.

that's the difference between me and most Lebron stans though. I can acknowledge that he's great and will be a first ballot HOFer...but still break down a specific of his game. I'm an objective fan of basketball, so when everyone's chosen 1 has "the decision" to bring superstars who can score in bunches, shooters to stand on the receiving end of his passes, and a coach that is emphasizing Defense....I take it into consideration.

I also take into consideration when elite coaches come in and take away all of your strengths as a TEAM and dare you to use the superstar's weakness to beat him. When everyone starts shunning me for saying there are guys whose games are more complete/more effective/less able to be neutralized, the Lebron stans come in and raise hell.

So yes, he'll be decorated at a crazy level and will be a very accomplished individual. However, he's not sniffing my top 5 if he doesnt drastically improve his weaknesses. EVERYBODY in my top 5 drastically improved/addressed their weaknesses....and there's a young man by the name of Kevin Durant who has done that and we are all watching it unfold before our eyes. but the Lebron stans aren't being very receptive.

RT @spurs: [RELEASE] Manu Ginobili expected to miss three-to-four weeks: http://t.co/iaLa8SCt9Q

This is seriously the worst Spurs season ever.

You have the 3rd best record in basketball.

I hope this isn't about the 1-11 or whatever record you have against the league's best teams.

Several teams have lost the season series against an opponent & gone on to beat that opponent in the playoffs.

Didn't you and everyone else claim y'all were better without Rudy that year though? It's fine though, I agree, love to meet with everyone healthy both ways.

Chris Paul the only superstar who's team never misses a beat when he's down :pimp: :nerd:

Best offense in the league since he's been out :nerd:
Combined record of the teams they have beaten without him: 158-249 (.388).

Defensive ranks of those teams (by defensive efficiency): 22nd, 19th, 16th, 27th, 22nd, 25th, 21st, 2nd, 6th and 24th.

Not gonna lie, it's about that. That and the injuries. It just hasnt been been a fun season to watch. In the long run it will help, the increased PT for some guys (Patty and Boris) will serve us well come playoff time, but no one likes seeing seeing their team have this many injuries, especially when it's to the younger guys.

I really hope a healthy Grizz get another shot at a healthy OKC team because I'm tired of hearing the excuse about last year, especially since the Grizz couldn't use the same excuse in 2011 when they had Sam Young starting instead of Rudy.

At this point, the only team I fear that we cannot beat without making another trade is San Antonio. I'm pretty confident that with our defense heading in the direction it was at last year, better 2 way players on the perimeter and an improved Conley, they can give OKC hell and beat them. But, let's wait til around March/early April and talk about that again.
Johnson is turning into quite the gem.

You make it so easy to hate the city of Memphis.

both post were spot on tho...... i still hate we gave up on JJ

If there's any way that the sophomores lose, it's Waiters shooting them out of it (which seems super plausible).

Edit: Totally forgot that they changed the rules. Rookies/sophomores would have especially been a disaster this year.

So... Adams, Antic, Olynyk, Plumlee, Sullinger and Valanciunas over Henson.

That's nuts, man.

I don't know why the hell Pero Antic is on there but he just had a stress fracture in his ankle and probably won't even be able to play in it.
