Tonight I was surprised by how the Thunder destroyed the Heat

Lebron had to get double teams to help while Durant didn't really have double team help when he was guarding Lebron

Durant had few plays where he made Lebron look silly. Durant is definitely the best player in the world

You can tell the Heat are shook. They got mashed on their home floor with the other team playing the Heat small ball style

None of the big 3 had a no show either
They wouldnt have won with Westbrook IMO. Thunder need to trade Westbricks for a pure PG to go along with KD god. Get rid of Perking too.

Those saying get rid of westbrook are on that good kush and alcohol

You dont trade a top 10 player and become better, they need westbrook bad

No they need Westbrook for the playoffs. Westbrook finally needs to adapt his game to win.

The same way Brooks has adjusted his coaching style. I remember last year he was talking about Durant being a facilitator, it seems like this year they focused on him being more of pure scorer

Is this Imlive305 or drewsome or whatislosinglike?

He need to stop trying to score first. Westbrook play defend, grab boards and let KD be the scorer would put the Thunder as favorite to reach Finals easily. They still got to get rid of Perkin though.

The thread turning into KD vs Bron lololol

It reminds of Bron vs KB couple years back. Like most have said already, people are being in the moment which is fine. KDs in his 8th season all the chip talk will get into people's head soon.

That "moment" is lasting pretty long.

We'll see, its inevitable that KD will eventually surpass Bron both due to his improvements and Bron's decline ala Bron/KD. To me this "moment" only started when KD went ham for the past 10+ games and he made a statement tonight kudos to him. You are kidding yourself if you don't think that's the case. Reading some of the comments in here, I don't think Bron's time is up yet. Again, back to the age old "excuse" for the Heat - they are still waiting for April. Go ahead and win the MVP, but i hope you all remember about the MVP curse and IF (big if because I think the Pacers a real problem the way the Heat are playing) they happen to face in the finals, that's a good story line/motivation for Lebron and Co. ala '93 & '99.

You are using the same arguments Kobe stans were using when Lebron was starting to to do his thing and Kobe started declining.

Lebron's time as the best player is up. Lebron can still win but that is because he has a better cast around him. Lebron's success depends on whether Wade can show up or not.
Duran'ts success depends on whether he destroys a team or not. That's gotta tell you something. LeDependent

Thanks for quoting, i meant to say Bron/KB in my initial sentence and I didnt realize i typed k"D". I totally agree with you that this reminded us the debate a couple years back with LBJ/Mamba that is why i said what I said. With that said, i still don't think Lebron's time is up yet. You claim "LeDependent" now but i will hold my judgement till the playoffs. Half these guys did not have the same tone last year when KD was putting up better numbers than Bron in the beginning of the playoffs when Russ went down (of course we have to take into consideration of their competition). I feel that a lot of guys are coming out now because they are so eager to find that anti-Bron wether be the stans, fatigue from the OD media exposure, etc ala Bron couple years ago as the anti-Mamba (unselfish vs selfish)

His success at the "moment" destroying teams definitely put him in the spot as the best player RIGHT NOW - isn't that what Lebron did in Cleveland tho? I agree with you that Lebrons success has a lot to do with his cast but also the way his game by facilitating. I reserve my declaration of KD being the BEST till he continues this without Russy for a bit more.

P.S. with all due respect, he **** on Lebron today tho.

''When he's out, we have a more balanced attack,'' Parsons said of Harden. ''We run our sets and get the best shot available. When he's not there, we don't go one-on-one as much.''

Rockets are 6-2 this year with Harden out, for what it's worth.
Stop winning me over Chandler Parsons, just stop it. To have the courage to keep it that real... :pimp: :pimp: props to him. In all Harden will probably stop playing hero ball after the Rockets get bounced in rounds one or two this year. It will all sink in once the fingers start getting pointed in his direction

I don't care what y'all say, Dwyane Wade is top 100 in the league. No matter how he is playing tonight

Whenever the heat lose it's ohhhh lebrons playing on the Miami cavs. But when they save his *** time and time again not a peep

You have to be crazy if you think okc would beat the heat in the finals. It will not happen.

I feel bad for Westbrook when they inevitably lose

Let me post this while I'm up.

I wish Dawk Ins would have done something special for this one and include 3rd quarter misses so you can see all of that 1 on 1.
