I'm still waiting on this so called run Lebron supposed to be on?!?! If you ask me I think he's gased out! Was Wade even playing :nerd: This the last time I'm gonna say this I think we've seen the last of Wade he's done! Lebron is tired and you can see he's wearing down by the time they face Indy with their home court advantage it's going to be a wrap even if Bron goes MJ on em it won't be enough...Now KD aka "Prey Mantis" aka "Slim Reaper" omg had Bron on skates last night that's A BAD MAN! Right now he is the MVP no questions asked ppl forget he doing all of this w/o Westbrook....funny thing is the Heat have a better team but they record ain't better than the Thunder and they in the Western. Conf again RIGHT NOW he is the clear cut MVP. Point blank period.

The infamous Celtics/Lakers fan is back?

Anyway, I love watching Vucevic play. Misses 12 games with a concussion, comes back and puts up 16 and 10 in 20 minutes :pimp:

The stats, though, have limited value in making this case. Watching James defend Durant on Wednesday said it all. One of the best on-ball defenders in the league because of his size, quickness and confidence, James repeatedly found himself on his heels dealing with the triple threat that Durant has morphed into as his game has been honed.

But James, who had three rebounds and three assists, was outplayed by Durant, who had seven rebounds, five assists and two steals. And it happened at both ends of the floor.

There is no longer a discernible gap between James and Durant. James is more decorated and more experienced, but the difference in their games no longer appears so definitive as it did when they faced off in the Finals two years ago.

Can y'all stop quoting knightngal's posts, cause I can actually see them when you do that

Another wonderful emotional roller coaster from you dudes last night in this thread

"Oh no, KD and OKC ain't ready"
" KD ain't nothing without Russy"
"Oh no, Bron and Wade ain't ****"
"Bron can't do anything without his cast"
"KD won the MVP last night"

KD is the clear MVP right now, however there is still a lot of season to go. I won't judge the Heat until the playoffs start. After three finals appearances and two championships, I can understand not being overly excited about a regular season game in January.

is wade's knee that serious of an issue or is he/team trying to be overly cautious. i havent watched too much of the heat's games since they start so early

i guess if the heat had kept up their lead through the whole game everyone would be sayin kd cant do it by himself today

Furious mami

HAHA!

Anyway, was excited for last night's match up because I'ma fan of both. Durant is on some other ish right now. So fun to watch.

However, the Bron haters crack me up talking about he got cooked, and so forth. I guess the same can't be said about Durant getting cooked because Durant BARELY guarded him. ESPN posted the possessions and i think Durant only guarded him like nine times or something. I BET if Lebron had only guarded Durant that little, dudes in here would be talking about how scared he is and blah blah.

The only way KD doesn't win MVP is if he doesn't wake up tomorrow night.

Nah, they were trying to win that ****. :rolleyes They can play that excuse when they lose to the Bobcats or something, but they get up for that OKC matchup, admittedly so in fact. Wade and his "Note to self" bracelets. I bet he flipped it on the other side and it said, this_h0t_b0dy- The W- rm 227

Does the 1 on 1 matchup really matter that much? ESPN was talking about it like the game went into triple OT and was the game of the year

At the end of the day, I don't think the MVP will be decided by what Lebron or Durant did against each other in 2 games. Its one thing to say Durant deserves to win MVP this year, but to say it because he out played Lebron in 1 matchup is crazy. If the shoe was on the other foot and Lebron dominated Durant last night, the same people trying to crown Durant would be calling out the Lebron fans  .

One thing I hope happens is that people will stop saying Durant plays with a bunch of scrubs and using that as an excuse as to why he cannot have success without Westbrook. Of course, they are not as good without Westbrook, but there are definitely still a high level team.

P.S.

This is not related to the posters who are making logical posts about Durant winning the MVP.

you are just saying that cause you are a victim of being caught in the moment

Lol I am saying that because I saw KD score in Lebrons face everytime he wanted to when Lebron was on him.

Lebron had 34 points but he was not covered by KD for the majority of the game. Lebron was on KD for the majority of the game on D and either got shook or had a jumper drilled in his grill.

The blasphemy was rediculous last night, i read "russ has to be more of a pass first pg when he comes back, he was holding durant back" :smh:

You know why KD wasn't on Lebron? Because he can't guard Lebron. Lebron exerted his energy trying to stop a guy who's on a historic hot streak and still put up 34 points himself. Durant had a great game. But have him guard Lebron all day and cut that point total by 10 easy.

Like I said in this thread a few weeks ago, this Thunder team is taking the championship this year...

If you've watched them/kept up with them THIS year you'd know that with Russy, who has modified his shot selection/game a bit, from top to bottom these dudes are too dialed in this year to slip up.

His demise is slowly coming to frutition..

The Big 3 is coming to end before our eyes...and KD is the best player in the league right now and for the forseeable future..

My Wizards can never get over .500

And we got KD up next -___-

Speaking of the Wizards, a belated GG for last night. I enjoy watching your team play. Wall and Beal are both real nice players. I'm not sure what exactly the team needs to get to the next level, but with that backcourt, they should be a playoff team in the East for a while.

Pretty much.

The Lebron haters won't see that. HOWEVER, if it was the other way around, GURANTEE dudes would be talking about how Lebron didn't want it with KD and was scared to guard him, etc.

Dudes acting like Bron wasn't on THE best player for majority of the game last night and STILL had a good game in his own right. Normally, with these "epic" matchups, both star players wouldn't guard each other, until maybe the 4th. Gotta take that into account.

so if this the last year of big three, and they dont win it, is 2 > 7?

will the big 3 in Miami have lived up to what was initially expected from them? (not 3, not 4, not 5...)

LeBron went 2-6 with 8 points with KD guarding him. He got blocked once, or I believe so, IN THE POST.

KD denied LeBron the ball in the post A LOT and several time LeBron couldn't get anything on him so he just passed the ball.
