From 06-09 was kobe era. Had ****** hyped to see him play not knowing if dude was gon drop 50 on dudes head. Chris Paul was never the best player in the league. 09-10 is when lebron realized his jumper was mediocre and if he put his head down he can get to the rim every time

How was 06-09 Kobe's era? In that timespan A.I., Chris Paul, Lebron, D Wade, all were just as good if not better

No you liked that them better than Kobe

They werent better

there was no clearcut best player in the decade, other than shaq in the early 2000s

but kobe was always in the convo, cant say that about any one else (other than duncan)
What is you talking about bro? Kobe was not the best player in the NBA ever..... he may have scored a lot.... yelled a lot.... got a couple rings..... but he NEVER been THE BEST. Like Great players played during the Bird/Magic era.... but them two were way bette then the rest. Lots of amazing guys were around during the MJ era.... but MJ was just too damn great. There was a alethltic prime for a lot of guys in the AI era.... but the play of Iverson was simply unmatched...... Lots of cool folks around during this LBJ era.... but LBJ is the Leader of this era..... nobody is close to him..... Maybe KD got next in a few years

I can go with that. All I said was that Kobe never had a definitive era. That is, even during his best years he wasn't overtly the best player in the league like Lebron has been since he came to Miami, or Jordan during the 90's.

Iverson over Shaq was a classic case of the media voting for the best narrative instead of the best player. Shaq was far and away the best and most valuable player in '01, this isn't even debatable.

So because Shaq deserved it that means A.I. wasn't worthy?

Uhh... yes? Do they give out multiple MVP awards per season and no one told me?

nba only had a couple eras, where one guy was the undisputed best player for more than 3 seasons in a row.

Russel
Chamberlain
Kareem
Bird
Magic
Michael
Shaq
Lebron

thats it, no kobe era exists.

So if Lebron wins the MVP this year that means KD wasn't worthy. Oh Ok

Read what I said. There are a few players year in and year out that are 'worthy' of the MVP

People just dont like Kobe. Its understandable.

But to say he was NEVER the best player in the league, NOT EVEN ONCE, is a bit comical.
No it aint. Dude is great. One of the greatest ever.... but he has never been the best player in the NBA. Best scorer? Sure many many times. Best SG? Sure many many times... but hands down best basketball player in the Earth? Never. Always been somebody better

fixed.
i can agree with this, from 04-2011 there was no undisputed best player in the league

imo during that period the best overall player in terms of consistent greatness every year is kobe

i wouldnt mind if you thought it was duncan

to say it was iverson or tmac shows that you know nothing about basketball
