You're offering ONE piece (Derozan) and a bunch of mediocre picks. Other teams can offer multiple pieces and multiple picks.

Raptors would have to start with Derozan + Valanciunas. You don't get a star like Love without giving up something of value to you.

Plenty of people criticize Hibbert's weak offense on here. Some of it's justified.. but on the other end they don't really need him to be putting up 25 a game... so why expect him to be dominant on that end?

NT tends to undervalue and overlook defense, but in the case of Hibbert, you're ignoring that player's primary value and contribution to his team's success.

Then Minny would prob just cut Toronto out and trade directly with the other team.

Minnesota isn't gonna trade away their franchise for a couple picks here and there. They'll want to get back legit young talent they can build around. For Toronto, Derozan + Val would be the obvious starting point imo.
