LeBron tonight, 42 on 23 shots, 9 boards, 6 assists.

Is it hyperbole to say that Lebron is the most efficient superstar this league has seen? I guess some centers might have been more efficient back in the day. How about the most efficient modern day superstar? His efficiency is ridiculous.
Durant just had 50/40/90 last year fam.

Bron has a very very very slight edge in TS% this year, but Durant is giving u significantly more volume so I'd still take Durant.

Durant's current 31 ppg on 64% TS is the best combo of volume and efficiency from a wing since Jordan.

kinda hope the clippers finish with the best record in the west and blake wins MVP

just so cfb gets his 50$
Not enough games for that to happen. Next year he possibly has a shot.

This Miami/OKC game is going to be even more important than the last one because it looks like LeBron's trying to show out to regain his MVP position.

Durant also takes more shots and more free throws.

Lebron doing amazing with less

Yeah people completely overlook the concept of volume in relation to these advanced stats and completely miss or dismiss it.

I believe 2.5 seasons. 09-10, 10-11 & half of 11-12

Didn't Monta hate Steph's guts when he first got drafted? He said something along the lines that there's no way they can co-exist together before Steph even played a single NBA game.

Look at their respective careers now. Monta full of himself.

Idk about hate his guts but Monta hated that they drafted someone that would take the ball away from him! Still a Monta fan but he needed to leave for Steph to be great :pimp:

dont think they hate one another, just competition. im a huge monta fan and the w's squad during that time was pretty bad and depleted at times. rob kurz, jeff adrien, anthony tolliver were who monta was running with at times. don nelson basically played monta close to 48 minutes each gm. i literally thought monta was gonna pass out during a couple gms. dude was the only bright spot after the "we believe" days and before steph really developed.

Not to take anything from Blake because i think he has improved his game tremendously, but.....

I get a feeling that a lot of the Blake "Hate" is derived from people seeing everyone in here putting Blake on a god-like level that he doesn't live up too.

Example? look at the Pro-Blake comments on the last page or so, based off those comments you would think Blake was putting up GOAT numbers out there. But in reality he's putting up numbers plenty of players put up on any given night (see Al Jefferson box score tonight) and losing to a Spurs team with 3 starters out and a half healthy Ginobili

yeah but no one here is going out of there way to criticize al jefferson like they do blake. blake is playing amazing basketball. time for a lot of his detractors to have some humble pie.

I'm not even a Blake fan, but he has been on tear since the start of 2014. He's averaging over 35ppg for enitre January. That's even more than KD.

Exactly my point. If they saw pages of posts about how "GREAT" Jefferson was every time he's having a 25+ 10+ game you would probably start to see people posting Jefferson slander.....

if al jefferson was doing the same thing hes doing right now on the knicks or nets he would be an allstar and "the next big thing"
