If Wiggins pans out he will be great but the skills hes lacking cant be learned at the next level

And what skills are those?

Trouble creating shots in the half court, no killer instinct, easily takes the backseat to lesser players

Dont get me wrong he is still a good player, at the next level he will most likely be a good player, kinda reminds me of Derozan, and to have a Derozan type player on your team isnt bad at all

Speaking of the draft...

I mentioned the Celtics earlier. Totally didn't realize what their future drafting situation looks like.

2014 first (their own)
2014 first (the less desirable pick between the Nets and Hawks)
2014 first/second (depends on whether or not the Sixers make the playoffs)
2014 second (Nets)
2014 second (Warriors)

2015 first (their own)
2015 first (Clippers)
2015 second (their own)
2015 second (Kings)

2016 first (their own)
2016 first (Nets)
2016 second (their own)

2017 first (their own - swappable with the Nets)
2017 second (Kings)

2018 first (their own)
2018 first (Nets)
2018 second (their own)
Danny Ainge is the new Fleece Johnson

someone unnecessarily mentioned the Heat? SMH, thread about to get derailed

Cant wait to see Lebron drop numbers today

Thought Roberson was Thabo's replacement from the jump

Give him time and he can be a better version of him 3 & D wise, he's also a hell of a rebounder.

Brooks gotta be the most young talent averse coach ever, guy has nothing but good young prospects on his roster but would rather play guys who have proven they are beyond their effective years

I thought the same.

Defensively though, he looks to be about there.

Thabo ain't returning next year, imo.

Roberson may not be able to shoot but,

he collects 61% of rebounds per chance, collects 58.3 contested rebounds he has a chance at.

That's more shots for other offensive players.

Thabo ain't doin' that.

Julius F. Wrek

KD is lucky reggie jackson is the best back up in the league or okc would be under 500 without russ, brooks wanted kd to be more of a facilitator but kd just isnt that type of player, thats why bron is taking those shots at durant, him scoring all those points & taking alot of shots is barely giving okc wins, kd is just melo with a better jumpshot, but some of yall want him to play like 06 kobe >D

Thunder without russ>>>> lebrons cavs, kd isnt getting the job done for a guy thats 2nd best in the league,

THIS. he may not be the NEXT big superstar, but he will be a solid player. look at demar and even a guy like harrison barnes

Why is it that the only time Heat fans make an appearance in this thread, it's just to complain about people "hating/bashing" on the heat or say something like "If that was the Heat, people would blah blah blah".

get over it already

It's not one person specifically. its just like i have never seen a Heat fan come in here and contribute to a conversation at all.  they just show up once in a while to say "**** the Haters!" or something like that and then they are gone again.

or they comment about something a different NBA team or Player did and say "Oh man if that was LeBron or the Heat, people would be talking so much ****! but its ok cause its not the Heat!"

Warrior fan here, what can I expect from Jordan Crawford as a backup PG?

Depends. If you go off of what he's been doing this year you can expect an upgrade at the backup guard positions. He's a talented scorer and playmaker, which should bolster the warriors bench.

He's a talented scorer who can heat up off the bench. But if he gets too much of a leash he'll start effin up

Also kinda has an ego issue, any team he goes to he thinks his role should be bigger than what it is. So he has a tendency to get pouty at times.

But he's definitely one of those Nate Robinson-types who can come off the bench and make 4-5 crazy shots in a row.. he also has pretty good passing ability, when he wants to show it

Enter Jordan Crawford, who fell for a Brad Stevens mind trick and became a serviceable primary ball handler for much of this season in Boston after the Celtics concluded Avery Bradley couldn’t do the job. Crawford has always been a score-first guy with shot selection that ranges from “catastrophically bad” to “less catastrophically bad,” but he legitimately dialed it back this season in order to earn some playing time and prove he belongs in the league. He has assisted on 31 percent of Boston baskets while on the floor, a respectable mark for a point guard, and three Boston rotation players — Jared Sullinger, Jeff Green, and Avery Bradley — have used a higher share of Boston possessions via shot attempts than Crawford. Progress!

But he has fallen off a bit, and his creative passing has limits — self-imposed and otherwise. He’s down to 31 percent from deep, well below the league’s average, and he’s been ice-cold from the floor over his last 10 games or so. The bouts of bad judgment will always be an issue, and Crawford is a spacey liability on defense.

But he’s an upgrade over Douglas, he comes for (nearly) free, and the Warriors won’t need him to play more than 10 or 12 minutes in postseason games. For now, Crawford will help steady the all-bench units, involving five reserve players, that have struggled horribly on offense and produced a pile of bad Harrison Barnes isolations. Crawford won’t transform those units into scoring machines, but he can get into the lane, create for others, and produce a decent look when the team is up against the shot clock.
