i understand the love for anthony davis as a future top PF in the game, but the majority of his points come from being a roller and also offensive rebounds. he's shooting 29% with his back to the basket and 41% as a spot up shooter. the guys ahead of him (dirk, LMA, blake, and love) can go get you a basket when their number is called. davis isn't there yet. i totally respect what he brings to the table on the defensive end, but right now he is a shawn marion hybrid (and there is nothing wrong with that at all)

Clippers/Pacers :pimp:

We looking at you Blake :nerd: :pimp:

Will be real impressive if they pull this game out. On the road, against an elite squad, on the 2nd night of a back to back. These are the type of games where you make your money. 27-13, if you lose this you're still good, no real incentive to compete and win this other than you're a professional. Interested to see how they perform.

arent all nba teams just the best 5?
nope. there are positional restrictions. Same reason why Hornets fans were mad in '09 that Chris Paul didn't get 1st team after averaging 23/11/5 & 3 steals a night, leading the league in assists & steals.

Wade takes another gm off :rolleyes
All of this means nothing if he looks like D Wade in late may when they see Indy, but that better happen. They're handling him with extreme care.

Those are fair points about Davis.

Why Crawford over Manu for 6MOY though, is it just because he plays more minutes?

I just think Manu is significantly better on both ends.

Well see cause them playoffs gms aint spaced out like you think....playoff intensity is way more harder im worried for the heat beacuse if they cant hold up and be fully heathy for Indy its a wrap

That's the whole reason they're resting him now.  It's been an effective strategy in the past, I would say it's extended the careers of the Spurs stars.

DeAndre looking overwhelmed by the Pacers size. I wonder how Griffin will help the offense in the second half,he was active early.
