Man, Melo has already shown he's about his money twice in his career.

He took the five year extension in 2006 with the Nuggets while LeBron, Wade and Bosh took the shorter extensions, then he took the three year extension when he got to the Knicks before the lockout.

Exactly. If I was him at this point in his career just get ya $

I'm not even an Iman supporter but why should the Knicks have jumped at that? I don't want much to do with the 29th or 30th pick in any draft.

In this draft I would, plus Knicks don't have a 1st round draft pick till 2076, gotta get young talent somehow

Jamal Crawford with the elephant like memory

That was pretty impressive. I was never a huge J-Crossover fan before he got to the Clippers, but he's really won me over. Just seems like a real cool dude who loves the game. And when he gets hot like yesterday, watch out.

Trading Shumpert for nothing except the like 30th pick in the draft and no players currently in the league would have been a PR nightmare for trying to keep Melo. Would look like they're just getting ready for next season already.

They got to replenish the well somehow. Plus, Hardaway is playing (on offense anyways) enough to warrant him getting more minutes.

And yeah, the Knicks should be getting ready for next season. They're season is done, even in the dreadful East.

Jamal Crawford has a photographic memory. During an interview last year he was being quizzed on his 8 40-point games and he knew all 8 opponents, players who were guarding him, etc. It was amazing.

pretty sure that's not photographic

He knew every player who guarded him during any point in all 8 games, a few of which happened 9-10 years earlier. The interviewer threw in a few trick questions and he wasn't fooled. I looked for the interview but the video isn't there anymore.

Just throwing a guess, Iman coming off a knee injury already, package whatever pick you pull + something, to get something?

Package something + Iman might be the same thing, except the knee, + if they want a different position to fill (PF, C, etc)

Not saying right or wrong, just the potential thought process.

does anyone really think Melo is staying in NY? honestly?

if he does then i will NOT feel bad for him. he dug his grave then he will have to lay in it.

He can put up all the numbers he wants but NY is a dump and will remain one for a long time.
like Detroit?

someones mad

how did i know someone was gonna bring up the Pistons. While they do suck and unlike Knick fans, i can easily admit it. While we have talent, we have other issues stopping us.

Knicks have ZERO talent.

lies as usual. i don't think there's many knicks fans in our team thread who'll say the team, with the exception of one or two players, is any good

you got some agenda or something it seems. i always see you running your mouth (and shooting off lies) more about the knicks than your own team

Well usually the most talk about teams in this thread are either the Heat, Lakers, or Knicks.

When the topic of Pistons come up what do i usually say? check my posts brah... they suck.

they shouldnt suck but they do. i have no problem admitting whats going on with my team and i know the whole problem since i watch the games. Pistons have talent... Knicks DONT.

prove me wrong on that last part

This is Niketalk, that looked more like a dunked by than dunked on....

In fact, I'm not even sure that was Kyle Singler.
