sf? isnt that the position lebron, kd, pg, gay, iggy and green play?

relying on speed and jumping ability works better for post players

The only guy close to Wiggins athleticism at his age in that convo is Bron and maybe Gerald Green. He's faster and jumps higher than every one else listed, when he starts weight training in the league he's not even going to look human. He does need to develop his skills but that will come with time and experience

Speaking of the blazers, what's up with Trob?
Lineups featuring him are Portland's worst lineups on both ends of the court, & since Stotts keeps a short rotation it was easy to tell who the weak link in the rotation is.

He's a poor defender & raw offensively. his aggression was supposed to cover that up but it hasn't.
yea I read it in an article…very disappointing since he was projected as "ready" right out of college

they play different positions but would you say wiggins is as skilled as blake is/was?

Please be Dwight :nerd:

it's clearly Harden.

from Clutchfans.net:

"Some of you may know the new stat feature of "player tracking" (By SportVU).
Among other things, they perform speed and distance tracking for each player.

Now this one was a shocker for me:

Of all 453 NBA players, the lowest court movement any player made
(In distance covered per 48 minutes) is 2.9 miles,
and it is shared by our very nimble James Harden!

See the full stats list in here

The beard shares this lowest mobility figure with:
- Veteran, injury prone big men, in Boozer, M.Gasol, David West and Andrew (no knees) Bynum,
- 36 year old Stephen Jackson & Kanyon Martin
- and a few others, including Chris Copeland.
No one else on the list is in JH's age, height or role!

But note: NO ONE on this sorry list plays as much as his beardness - 39 minutes.
(Gasol plays 34.5, but he only played 13 games this season...)

Pretty bad... (Makes me blue)

Now, the Harden haters may say that the low movement shows his lack of effort,
but I'm absolutely sure it has everything to do with his being used too much
and with the fact that he plays while injured and in pains
(Both of which are McHale's fault, but also his own, IMHO)."

You got a link for this info?

Went to the site.. But wanted to see some of the discussion on this

taken from the same link

"The SAS players DO  tend to concentrate high up in any distance and speed chart! (Well, not Duncan, but the rest of them...)

They have 5 guys in the very lead in distance, and 8 of them travel 3.5 miles or more.
Also - note that only 14 players in the league share the speed  lead with an average speed of 4.6 MPH, and 5 of those are Spurs' players!

It can't be just coincidental IMHO. It HAS to be a game plan (movement and place-swaps etc.)

I wonder if it also has to do with the fact that the Spurs devide the minutes very widely among t
he rotation players.
(In the regular season none of them usually plays over 25 minutes on average,
if I'm not mistaken. Well - except for Parker, who really streaches it - to 30...)"

not sure why the copy and pasting is weird, highlight to see it all

Harden is lazy, but it's also a coaching staff thing. They enable him to be lazy. Our offense runs stagnant, poorly timed cuts to the rim, rotations on defense etc. McHale could get axed if this season doesn't go too well

Dwight Howard on defensive woes: "Not going to talk about it anymore. Guys have to do their part on defense. It starts on the perimeter."

I'm curious if anyone speaks up during film sessions when they see Harden loaf defensively. Certainly the coaches have picked up on it.

Or has he reached Lebron status in Cleveland where they don't call him out on nothing?

You get a pass when you're the best on the team

Oh Rudy Gay. It'll take awhile before he shakes off the bad rep he got in Toronto and his final season in Memphis when Hollin inexplicably let Gay play so ball dominantly. Maybe BHZ or Memph can chime in on that. But for the Kings sake, I hope he really does settle in and fits in nicely with this squad.

Also, this is what I was laughing at Zeller for earlier
