That defense though. He anchors the best defense in the NBA which makes up for his offensive deficiencies and its also why despite these numbers, he's an all star player...

im not buying it. All Star caliber players dont get constantly outplayed by their matchups, nor do great defenders constantly allow bum layers like Pero Antic and Ronnie Turiaf to vastly outscore their career averages.

I understand his contribution to team defense, but if you're going to be respected as an elite defender, I expect you to be able to impose your will on defense, and not be outplayed by journeymen bigs on a night by night basis

pero antic is actually a pretty decent player with skills

hes not horrible. But theres no reason that a player of the defensive caliber as Roy Hibbert should be allowing career high production from a dude who averages 5 ppg, or 11 to a dude like Turiaf. We're talking about an All Star player getting outplayed by bums
