I didn't say that. They're definitely not worth the OD reactions from Wade and the team.
But I think we're getting robbed by not getting to see him in a dunk contest. That's nothing new, but it's disappointing when videos like this pop up.

Pretty much this. IMO they should scale back the dunk contest and make it every 3 or 4 years instead of every year. That way dunks that aren't necessarily new will feel new cause we haven't seen them in a while. Will also make it more special knowing that you may only have one or two chances to compete in it in your career. This model of doing it every year isn't working.

Not even hating dead serious lebron isn't a contest dunker. The contest is more so for the Gerald green/Paul geode kinda guys. He doesn't have enough fitness and I could see him doing the same one handed dunk off of different lobs. Now if we're talking about in game dunks u can put him at at the tip with the best cuz dude does have a body list

nba needs to have a major overhaul and remake of all star weekend, especially saturday night events.
despite what magic johnson says, the dunk contest is not back.
shooting competition is just a way to incorporate the wnba and a bunch of old guys back.
guys dont even care about the skills competition, i forgot which contestant it was, but he was straight trolling and not even trying
highlight of the night is probably the 3 point contest.
they might as well just throw a concert and have musical guests, which it basically is.

3 point contest is money every year, no changes needed. What I'd like to see in the shooting competition is find a way to incorporate an amateur. Do regional shooting contests and bring in an amateur to play along with the stars. Then make it so that the amateur has money on the line like those half court shots everyone loves so much. Think of it as a half court shot on steroids.

the HORSE contest was a neat idea that needed some tweaking. felt the nba really care for it though
