Memphis radio is so damn excited about that mock draft like its the actual draft. Chris Vernon had Goodman on the radio today to explain why he had Smart so low. He just couldn't see any team like the Bobcats, Twolves, Sixers or Magic taking him when they already have young PG's. His only reason for Memphis was because they are a few steps ahead of those teams and can afford to develop Smart behind Conley in a 6th man role, whereas Smart would not want to back up younger guards from the other teams. Mentioned that drafting Smart after drafting Oladipo would not be the best idea for Orlando.

LMA doesn't get over hyped and overrated the way Blake does. Right now LMA is getting his due after putting in work. It's unfair to the players but lots of fans bias reporters create this atmosphere.

How are you gonna tell your coach to deliberately lose games for a whole season though?
I could see losing one or two games on purpose to get a favorable playoff matchup like the Grizzlies did a few years ago, but an ENTIRE SEASON? C'mon son. that isn't a realistic request.

That aint a bad plan for my squad... they got another 1st round pick as well and add an All star level vet or 2 and they should be good... My mans Jameer a fan fav tho and the only holdover from the better teams thats y he still around

Yeah, NYK or DEN first rounder. Deep class, someone will fall if you target a PF. TB12 at the 3. Harkless off the bench as a SF in the rotation with Nicholson at PF.

I don't like Harkless starting at the 3. I rather them take a wing over Smart, especially if Wiggins/Parker are still on the board, then take a guard with their 2nd pick in the first round.
