Man listen.....

Thibs always COY candidate, he runs all his players into the ground but damn can that man coach a defense.

I hope Melo leaves, so networks have no excuse to keep putting the Knicks on national TV. This season has been an epic failure from TNT, ESPN, etc

It's not their fault the Knicks suck. They were the damn #2 seed last year lol.
Then put in flex scheduling like the NFL. They need to stop worrying about 'markets' and show people good basketball

The Lakers have been flexed out of three games already this season.

Also, it's not as easy to flex NBA games out. They can't move them to different days because arenas have tight schedules. And sometimes there isn't another, better, game to show. If the Knicks play the Lakers on TNT on a Thursday, there's no other game to switch to.

Also Noah is insane.. this season I hope everyone is seeing how valuable this guy is. When you consider everything he does on the floor, dude is a legit MVP candidate no lie

 But they won't flex the Knicks? America was subjected to two lifeless games back to back

So glad Gerald Green re-ignited his career. Hopefully he can get a nice deal from Phoenix and not have to wonder if he'll get cut or traded for once.

Your move, Terrence Williams

Read my edited post. The NBA can't flex as much as you'd like because it's logistically almost impossible. The NFL moving a Sunday afternoon game to prime time is easy. There are often only two games on Thursday nights, both on TNT. They can't take a Wednesday game and move it to Thursday.

I just hope NO can be healthy next year and build around the blessing they have known as Anthony Davis

That really only applies to Thursdays on TNT. Every other day has multiple games, how would it have been impossible to broadcast the Memphis-OKC game instead of the Knicks? They've done it before, Washington got flexed out of an ESPN game for Pacers-Blazers earlier in the season. It should happen more often.

The goddamn Knicks are on national TV yet again on Saturday. NYK vs Chicago, that's gonna be another unwatchable game.

Nah Gerald Green finally realized just dunking wont keep you on a team . No way he ever fizzle outs again after this season. The Suns are going to give him a nice deal and you can tell Hornacek likes him.

You're failing to account for relationships and things of that nature that are in place that ESPN, TNT, ABC, etc. would be burning by doing so. Not justifying them not flexing the schedule, just saying that it's more too it than just the better game that night. Teams have fanbases that extend far and wide, and a lot of these teams (I.E. Knicks, Lakers,) have fans that don't even live in LA and the casual fan doesn't have league pass, so they depend on National TV to watch their Lakers, or their knicks or bulls. It's very much a part of their brand.

Bingo. People try and simplify it into an issue of good vs. bad. It doesn't work like that.

Even the NFL can't do whatever it wants when it flexes games. CBS and Fox are allowed to retain certain games because it's in their best interest. The NFL can't just cherry pick from the entire pool of games.
