I'm not doubting SA anymore especially after picking them in 6 last June, should have won. I will say that it's no foregone conclusion they'll make it back though. West playoffs is all about matchups.

I think OKC still beats them and they could lose to Memphis in the 1st rd if they make it. Or they could make it all the way to the finals and win it all. It's such a crap shoot this year. Health would be the only concern.

bazemore had the last laugh laying up kd for the win.  smh at durant for allowing a lefty to lay it up with his left on the right side

I'm confused is KD gonna play like a "servant" for the rest career while playing with Westbrook or is he ever gonna start playing like a #1 option consistently ? I have no faith in him ever developing a "alpha dog" mentality.
one day that switch will click on just like lebron after the 2011 finals.

Had the Spurs not made it past the WCF last year, that whole regular season argument could have some weight, but they made it to the Finals last year, and were a missed layup and missed FTs from closing out the series and taking it all

Well that would require Russ relinquishing the team to him like Wade did for Bron. I don't see that happening, Russ is too alpha for that.

A regular season team is a team that loses 1st or 2nd round like the Clippers

Anything past the 2nd round and you're a top team

Comeback from my Sunday run and see the highlights lol. What the heck happened? OKC stays losing to bad teams, never fails lol. O well

But they still LOST.

I like the Spurs, im not a fan, I do support them in they are on TV playing a team I dont like, but they arent winning any chips anytime soon. Could I be wrong? Obviously, anything can happen.

Chances of that though.

You literally contradict yourself every other sentence. Just fumbling over words and hoping you manage to say SOMETHING significant.

When Russ eventually dips or gets traded it'll be great to see what KD does then. Latch on to another star for a duo or have the org build a real team around him with him as the clear #1.

"Great run" is an understatement. It was literally seconds away (or a different coaching decision) from another championship. That can't be stressed enough.

All we're saying is you're shortchanging them. That's the point. Like someone said earlier...dudes have been talking about the Spurs being washed since like 2010 and they're STILL going strong. No greater evidence than what were this close to doing last year.

Who knows if they even reach the Finals again but I'm certainly not doubting them.

Lol, y'all don't get it huh? It's not scoring that's the problem with OKC it's the defense. Westbrook and kd are fine together.

If OKC doesn't win it this year, they should start looking into Westbrook's trade value (which would net them a very, very good return). You can't have a knucklehead as your floor general

There defense was and has been horrid for a while but when the game was close and they were a fg away from tying or taking the lead bad shots were taken.

It's usually the other way around but sometimes a good offense can lead to motivation for better defense.

And why is the game close? Lol. OKC was killing the suns and lakers and still didn't play D

Lakers defense was surprisingly good.

I was expecting OKC to blow them out on some Russ and KD combining for 80.

we will give you brandon jennings and charlie v and 2 draft picks

The spurs are done argument again. Man shut up. They're not done until they're eliminated from the playoffs. Until then, they're a serious threat to win it all.
