What's this dude talking about that the 01 Sixers faced such poor competition? In the 1st round they faced Reggie's Pacers who they lost to the previous two years, second round they played VC's Raptors in his prime, conference finals they played the Bucks with Ray Allen, Cassell and Big Dog all in their prime...then in the Finals they played a Lakers team that hadn't lost a single game all playoffs.

Those teams were alright...  Not as bad as the East would be a couple years later, but not exactly elite or complete teams.

Got "dumpstered" in the Finals? Okay, Lakers fan.

They handed the Lakers their first loss of the entire playoffs in Game 1 then lost by 9 and 5 in the next two games.

there was 0 chance we would have ever lost that series even if shaq or kobe sat out, from jordan retiring till the pistions there were no good teams in the east

kings, blazers, lakers, spurs > any east game from that period

That was a good Pacers team.

Nah, just happened to last yr since I like Houston and it's a cheap flight or 7 hr drive. Doubt I'll be in Canada next yr

All Star in Toronto next year? :wow:

Definitely going to be out there getting women pregnant like I'm Paul George

I thought the All Star game was in New York next year with the Knicks and Nets arenas splitting the festivities. Frank Isola on Around the Horn was talking about it today, saying that will be the only reason Bron will get in the dunk contest because it will be held in Brooklyn....We know how that goes with Bron though.

I haven't watched that many Nets games lately, but with the few that I have glimpsed , I haven't seen Jason Terry on the floor. Is he getting any playing time ?
