Chandler Parsons just said him not making the USA team was a joke, especially based on how players are currently playing. Also insinuated that him leaving Nike and politics involved with that played a role in him not making the team.

DeAndre Jordan tweeted this earlier:

DeAndre Jordan ‏@deandrejordan 4h
wow, it's actually funny...but eh well, you know how and what it is.

I think its along similar lines to what Parsons is saying. Given the timing, I'm sure DJ was particularly bothered that Drummond got picked over him since Jordan worked the Pistons' front line earlier this week.

Congrats Russy, PG24, Dre, DMC, Beal.

Chand's more deserving than Korver (yes, I know he's a sharpshooter but Parsons is no slouch with his outside shooting) and Faired (limited by Shaw's preferences).

Deron is a shell of himself (the Utah days when he was tit for tat with CP3). I like Kawhi's future potential but it's debatable if he's better than Chand right now. Probably defensively but not with deep shooting and other areas on offense.

damn

what determines how good a facilitator is then? purely his assist stat? You've just taken away the complexity of facilitation it seems. not sure where you stand with its impact considering you just marginalized it across the board

waiting on your answer to this boss. pretty key to me understanding what yall truly feel facilitating is. i need closure

everyone who gets the ball in the hands of an open teammate for an easy basket is facilitating, some just do it better than others

just like how a blake griffin dunk is the same 2 points as a kobe fadeaway over 3 people, westbrook passing the ball to thabo for an open 3 is the same as kd passing the ball to thabo for an open 3. its just that the act of passing to teammates for open shots happens more frequently for westbrook than it does durant, it also happens more frequently for lebron than it does durant

westbrook averages more assists, points off assists, passes per game, passes per touch, secondary assists per game (hockey assists) and assist opportunities per game

so not just his pure assist stat, but literally every stat related to passing the basketball

:nerd:

Nike aint any different in basketball/sports than white/jews (no racism) is to hollywood. *shrugs*

It can't be all Nike because DJ switched from UA to Nike this season and still got snubbed. Meanwhile, Andre Drummond wears Adidas (I think) and he made it.

anyways though.

parsons basically said it was a joke that he wasn't on the team, especially based on his play this year vs others. talked about his versatility and ability to play 2-4 and defend 1-4. can't say i disagree. wall is the one that really gets me though

What is going on in here.

Ppl still think Bron has no jumper or post game?

I love the whole ignore stats, I watch games w/ my own eyes thing, too.

Better get those eyes checked ASAP.

Lebron is still (imo) BY FAR the best player in the NBA...but damn durant is closing that gap game by game.

I know it's killing Lebron, you can tell in his recent games he's pressing a bit.

i wouldnt say leaving wall out was a snub. the pg position is stacked and all of those guys can shoot.

but i guess you can make a case for westbrook since he was on the 2012 squad?
