Say what you want about Dwight, but he has never been on a bad team (minus his rookie year).

If Cousins is truly a dominant center, he should be able to carry any team to at least a .500 record. Right now he doesn't anchor the paint, he gives up as many points as he scores which is a big reason why the Kings are so bad. Center version of Harden.

I will say this though, if Sacramento could get Embiid and move Cousins to the 4 (his true position imo) he would rank very high among PFs. As a PF he would definitely be ahead of Blake, and behind only Love and maybe Aldridge.

Glad to see a Kings fan with some objectivity. It's clear that cousins has to make huge strides particularly on the defensive end to be considered the best C in the league. I agree that he's the C version of Harden. I don't agree that he's better suited as a Pf, and I think Blake is better
Still, that's splitting hairs.

No one is saying Boogie isn't a great young talent. I'm just saying be objective and let him grow into that. He's not the best C in the game... Could he be a few years down the line? Sure why not.

Y'all did the same thing with Kyrie and Harden before the season, and now y'all turning on them cats lol
I'm not a Kings fan (or Rockets fan).. just a neutral observer.

Btw Cousins actually said himself that he wants to move to PF:

"I love playing with Jason Thompson, don’t get me wrong, but I believe I would play better if I had a shot-blocking big. I’m not the greatest shot blocker and I can move to the four and play my natural position."

He'd be way better than Blake at PF imo, he has a more dominant post game and is a better midrange shooter. Also he's equally good at passing out of the high post. Of course Blake has the athleticism/quickness advantage.

When I say this about Love, people gawk at it

The Wolves are +11.0 points per 100 possessions with Love on the court and -13.9 with him off the court. That's the biggest disparity in the league. It's not Love's fault he's never had a good team around him.

yup, which is why he needs to leave the wolves asap

Also shouts to homie who said GS took a step back

Longest win streak in 9 years and just beat the two time champs at home though

People discrediting Cousins because of the Kings record don't watch the Kings play very much or they would understand just how bad the rest of the team is. The bench is awful so they lose leads every time the bench is in, they don't even have a backup PG right now.  The perimiter defense is awful. worst in the league in fact. giving up open 3 after open 3. not really Cousins fault. he also pretty much has to guard both his and Jason Thompson's man on defense most the time.

as an example of the help he gets, McLemore/Acy/Outlaw/Thornton combined for 1-20 fg for 2 pts tonight......

Meanwhile Cousins had 33pts 14reb in 28mins on 10-16 shooting. while being benched for "fouls" that were some of the worst calls i have seen this year in an NBA game.  hard to blame losses on this guy.

Did you guys also know that Cousins is 12th in the entire league in steals per game. which is obviously #1 for any big man.  but he doesn't play Defense.....

Steals aren't an indicator of someone being a good defender or not.
Neither are people who never actually watch the guy's team play. but they sure think they are.

watch a couple Kings games and tell me Cousins is the problem on Defense.

Thomas/McLemore get blown by and allow penetration on every play and leave shooters open. Thompson doesn't know what the hell he's doing on pick n rolls. its a mess

Now DeMarcus is no Mutumbo down there, but he is the least of their problems on D

i do not know what is worse if you are an nba fan

having to listen to sean elliot do color commentating

or watching the atlanta hawks play

man....manu ginobli bald spot is getting so big i thought he converted to judaism and was wearing a yamaka while playing

I think a guy like Ibaka is the absolute best thing they could pair with Cousins. A rim protector PF who can stretch the floor on offense
