"I believe Thomas Robinson is yelling 'lunch meat' every time Aldridge touches the ball against Josh McRoberts," Ely reported on Twitter from his baseline spot.

Lunch meat, it turns out, is exactly what Robinson was yelling.

"Lunch meat," Robinson explained to Blazersedge, smiling. "Whatchu do when you got some lunch meat? You eat it. Exactly! Whenever someone [is guarding Aldridge], he's always eating. He's L.A. Whenever somebody on him, he eat him. Lunch meat. That's how it is."

Post defenders are being reduced to nothing more than lifeless strips of bologna, waiting to be consumed.

"There's no one that can really stop him one-on-one on the block, let alone anywhere on the court," Leonard told Blazersedge. "L.A. is so skilled. It basically just means that L.A. is about to get a bucket. He's eating."

Even better, the "lunch meat" cry -- which almost amounts to celebratory pity, if such a thing exists -- is being heard loud and clear on the court.

"It means the guy can't guard me," Aldridge sheepishly told Blazersedge. "That I'm going to score at will. It's not that simple when I'm doing it. They say it looks that easy sometimes. It's fine, but I'm not going to get into it, I'm not going to say it myself."

LA is def feasting

I'd be down for a Warriors/Heat Finals. I like watching Lee and Bogut passing the ball and Bogut is a good shot defender.

My guess the flying schedule would be brutal :x

Yeah too me the only way Indy is beating Miami is if Roy finds a way to dominate more. No reason he shouldn't be averaging 18 minimum ,12 boards, and at least 2 blocks. Dude is soft around the rim. Go Laker Shaq on them and THROW THAT @#$% DOWN BIG MAN!

People say the dumbest things about NBA centers on here, I swear. Like Nate Robinson is a "good" player because he can sometimes volume score "pound for pound" but every center sucks unless they are putting up MVP numbers and dominating on defense they have "no excuses".

I swear y'all are a bunch of bitter midgets or something.

Been saying it since I first seen him play, he's got that Mamba mentality in him.

Dear god lakers pleasseeeee go after russy when he's a free agent pleasseeeee

Same conversations over and over again..

Given how much we are going need lamb in the postseason, he should be getting 25-30 per no matter the circumstances.. And especially with Russ being out

Ditto for Reggie, but again especially with Russ out.. But bump that to 30-35

With pj3 showing flashes, I'd try to get him around 20 per

But somehow fisher, Perkins, thabo and hell even collison get all the leeway in the world and still get consistent mins
Collison played 6 minutes (5:51) last night.

He's a steady anchor in the second unit, he really isn't a player I'd be concerned with.

collison obviously comes at the very end of that list for me.. but he has had his down moments this year.. and i'd rather see pj3 and adams get a shot in some of the situations he gets thrown into

i still hold firm to my belief that against 96% of the league our starting lineup should be (when russ is healthy): russ, lamb, kd, ibaka and collison (until adams can hold down this spot)

reggie is the primary backup for both guard spots (and also play in the 3 guard lineups).. pj3 can sub in for kd, ibaka or collison depending on what's going on.. and adams for ibaka or collison

and we all know the only situations perkins should be getting any mins.. ditto fisher.. and thabo has to have at least have (with russ out) kd/reggie or reggie/lamb on the floor with him

Who's to say that all of these abrupt returns don't take their toll, though?

He already plays like someone who is going to break down more quickly than normal.

You just don't watch Kings games!!!

C'mon man. I thought we we passed this

has chris paul even received a flopping warning since the new fines been implemented? :nerd:

nope. not once. a super star has never been fined for flopping unless you count James Harden, who's been fined twice. Its weird, you can google search the biggest floppers of all time and most every list is the same. Wade, Bosh, Bron, CP, Blake, Ginobli, JJ Barea, etc. None of those fools have ever been fined. It's B.S.

That's a lie, LeBron was fined $5000 last season.

So did Chris Bosh, David West, Lance Stephenson and plenty of other big names.

for flopping? In the playoffs?

When Jimmer goes BYU mode :pimp:
When Steph goes Davidson mode.
last night, and CP3 has been warned this season already, on Nov 12 against the Timberwolves ,
“The highlighted defensive player on this play, No. 50 in the white uniform, gets entangled with the offensive player who is moving to receive the inbounds pass,” the video’s narrator explains. “The defender then throws himself backward to the floor, simulating that he was pushed down on the play. This was an unreasonable embellishment by the defensive player designed to draw an unearned offensive foul on his opponent.”
he was also warned in March for the infamous Cousins flop
