You guys are trippin, how does it make no sense for either team? I think it makes perfect sense for both teams.
The Clippers get Melo to play PF and they get to run small. Melo upgrades their offense and can easily replace Griffin's D. Melo is not the rebounder Griffin is, but they have DeAndre to handle that.
Then there is the Knicks.....who would be trading a guy who they would likely lose to free agency for a young star who is getting better....who is also under contract for a while.
If you guys seriously think this trade makes no sense for either team, you are out of your minds. You can argue it doesnt make sense for the Clippers. I disagree, but whatever. But at worse, it makes perfect sense for one team.

Obviously, this trade wouldnt be judged strictly on the time Paul was out though. So why would you assume that the Clips would become an ISO team with Melo when Paul gets back?
