Blake has already started to take "that" step this season, and I look forward to seeing him take it even further with CP out. I look for him to prove why he's the best 4 in the L during this stretch without CP.

I just don't vibe with his style of play. I don't like my 4 men shooting that much 3 pointers and that perimeter oriented. Don't like that 45% from the field overall either. In generally, I just feel that Blake gets higher percentage shots and his game is better suited for success.

I think y'all underestimate just how much Paul does for Blake

This isn't really true. Statistics don't back this, and i'm not even a big stats guy

Not believing anything if it's just Broussard reporting

Doc Rivers agrees.

Dan Woike @DanWoikeSports
"It’s just stupid. My whole issue with any of that crap, that network, to me, reports a story they created." -- Doc Rivers on ESPN story

Dan Woike @DanWoikeSports
(more) "Then, they do reports on it for the next two days, on a story, they created. But, it's stupid."

I just seen in this thread one person say Anthiny Davis was the best PF in the L and another say Blake Griffin was.....

DID KEVIN LOVE DIE OR SOMETHIN???

I guess we're back to going in circles splitting hairs and downplaying elite players just to elevate another elite player. Between Love, Davis, Aldridge and Griffin you can't really go wrong. None of them have separated themselves to a comfortable lead. Don't see the point in discrediting Blake and crediting Paul for Blake's success. Don't get discrediting Love because he has 3-point range and acting as if that holds him back. Makes very little sense to do all that.

Nobody is downplaying Blake but if you think playing with the best PG in the league doesn't help his game idk what to tell you, you'll see though.

I see a point in discrediting Love because he has never played in the playoffs. At some point int he game, he falters. If you finish with 40/20, but only 4 of those pts in the last 6 minutes, at some point I am not entertained. Just like the previous Kevin

I don't see it and I doubt it but it'd be cool if he proved me wrong for the Clippers sake.
Blake needs better footwork to be the best 4, based on his playstyle.

What does this even mean
Based off the way Blake plays, his style, he needs to have much better footwork to be the best 4.

What was so confusing/complicated about that post?

I'd disagree, Blake needs to show much more passion and increase his bball iq to be the best 4 imo.

He has terrible footwork in the post, it's not hard to figure out. Not only that, his jumper is also slow and unreliable, plus his defense leaves something to be desired.

The only problem with this is....He still puts up 22 and 11 every night. And he's been on a tear this season especially. Soooooo...really, his "terrible footwork" can't be that much of a hinderance if he's still putting up elite numbers.

And obviously playing with the best PG helps, but there is something to be said when Blake is producing at an all world clip, and most of his points are coming off of isolations and not from CP.

And i'm not downplaying Love or LA, I think they are fantastic four men. But I just have very little faith in Jumpshooting bigs and perimeter oriented bigs. (Not named Dirk Nowitski) I don't see how Love or LA will be able to translate their style of play to playoff success.

At the end of the day, all 3 have a lot to prove come postseason, but I feel that if Blake is healthy, from what i've seen from him this year, he'll reign supreme amongst those 3 forwards.

Then what were you doing? I think Paul is the best point guard in the world no doubt, I watch almost every Clipper game. Nobody ever said Paul doesn't help Blake, come on now. The point you were trying to make was downplaying Blake for sure. If Blake played with Rubio on the Wolves he'd look exactly the same, perhaps even average more points being the first option on the Wolves.
