It's an all-star game.. nothing that happens is actually that serious or important. Blake's rep as one dimensional should have been debunked awhile ago. He doesn't just dunk... it's just what people say when they want to be critical of Blake. That and he flops or is "soft"
This season don't matter cuz he ain't on the Knicks anymore.
We talking about when he was actually on the knicks playing with Melo.
Lebron had a lot of trouble defending West too. Melo has had two straight outstanding years at PF and he's averaging a career high in rebounds this season. I'm not convinced that the switch to the 4 is the main cause of his or the Knicks problems. Their biggest problem is their foolish defensive scheme and all the switching they doMelo is "beasting" at the 4 because it creates a mismatch.
That's fine.
They let him drop 40 points and the team still loses.
Let him play the 3 where he doesn't have to try and guard players bigger than him and it's going to tire him out.
When he plays a legit 4, it's a wrap, or you don't remember last year against the pacers?
He had to try and guard David West on one end and get locked up by PG on the other.
He is soft though.
He has room to grow as a player, but when someone gets in hi face it's a wrap.
Zbo is good, but there's NO reason for Zbo to treat that man like a child.
Idk How the perception that zbo b****** Blake came. They are 1—1 in the playoffs. Y'all want this dude Blake to punch zbo in a playoff series and get ejected/suspended.
Swear the Internet isn't the medium for real basketball talk.
Would definitely be interesting to see the numbers Ibaka could put up if playing with a CP3 type of passer.Do y'all think Blake is better than Ibaka??? Srs question.
What do ya'll think Faried would be doing if he was on LAC instead?
Athletic PFs.

Yes i sure did see what Blake did, i did not mention Blake at all in my comment, i said i would be interested to see the type of player Ibaka could be playing with CP3. It has nothing to do with Blake, i just would like to see what Ibaka could do. Think about it, he plays with KD and Westbrook, obviously he would be getting more looks on a team like the Clippers or with a PG like CP3Did you not just see what Blake did without CP3,not to mention the numbers he put up his rookie year? Y'all still can't possibly think that cp3 is the reason he scores lol.Would definitely be interesting to see the numbers Ibaka could put if if playing with a CP3 type of passer.

***** wtf are you talking about? The only person not making sense is youYeah he was trash when he was playing with Melo. This season don't matter cuz he ain't on the Knicks anymore.

Turnover machine. Charmers and Rondo made him their *****. Y u think they let him go?
Smh. What's your point anyway?
Are u saying Lin was a all star caliber player or something?
If not, than stop responding because you're making no sense.
I mean, you could have said that last year too. He's upped his numbers so clearly he's making more of an effort to hit the glass this year, dude is rebounding like a beast. Gotta give him credit for thatLebron had a lot of trouble defending West too. Melo has had two straight outstanding years at PF and he's averaging a career high in rebounds this season. Who else on the team rebounds besides Melo?
Srs?
All Chandler does is tip out, he's useless.
Stat? Hah.
Melo is a prolific scorer, We all know that.
When he's ON only durant rivals him.
From the stats I've seen, Melo is actually playing solid individual defense this year, and he did last year too. But he's not gonna be able to carry an entire team full of bums who have no interest in playing defense. If the Knicks had better role players and solid depth, they could reduce Melo's minutes and I think he'd be even more effective as a fulltime 4.Lebron had a lot of trouble defending West too. and you don't think playing Melo at the 4 has anything to do with this? anything at all?
Melo is giving 110%.
You gotta feel for dude, that roster is :x
Woodson is :x
Rondo is a pipe dream, they can literally offer the Celtics nothing.
I might've posted a few things, but this Melo guy ain't a rookie. He's been around the block a long time. He's been w/ Denver and now in NY. Most cats only talk about him recently, but any scrutiny of him should include his tenure w/ previous teams. It's pretty evident that Melo is that kind of guy. He was never known to play defense, and he's a great SF/F on the offensive end, but it takes more than that to validate yourself as a 'franchise' guy. He might've been in a tough position in NY, but he knew what was at stake, and for critics to use 'team-mates' and 'coaching' as an excuse to his success is absurd.Melo is giving 110%.

In today's world, where coaching and players shift so much, and so often, it's hard to really assess. To Woodson's credit, he got JR to be the 6th man. I'm not saying the coach has nothing to do with it, but where is the talk about Melo and Karl? Is George Karl not a respectable guy? There's so many up and coming coaches out there now. It's just my POV. Melo is good guy. Anybody that steps up to represent the USA should be viewed in a different light. No steady PG play
No solid number 2 for scoring
Bigs that don't defend well / rebound
Yea, your right.
And average Knick game is Melo carrying the team for 3 quarters and getting what ever is he can from who ever can score that night.
Then the half way thru the 4th Woodson gets out coached, then it becomes ISO Ball with Melo taking a rushed shot or a highly contested shot because no one else can score.
No one can score, because the team was built a certain way. Chandler and Amare are broken towers already. Let's not even talk about Amare, but truth be told, when did you ever hear about Melo locking down a player like the other 'elites'? MJ locked down guys, Kobe locked down guys, LBJ locked down DROSE. etc. etc. I mean, it starts on BOTH ENDs and it's just obvious that MELO ain't really a defensive minded guy.No steady PG play
