Just seems like the Bulls would be his best chance to win if they kept Joakim, Jimmy Butler and Snell. I could see Melo wanting to play for Thibs too, as weird as that sounds, if he's serious about wanting to be a champion. Even if Rose doesn't come back as amazing as he was, he won't have to do as much with Melo beside him.
Chicago could be a major factor in the FA market if they're willing to part ways with Gibson. Then amnesty Boozer and you're at around 20 mil in cap space.

If they want to go that route, it's right in front of them.

melo would fit perfectly in chicago. i dont know if the bulls front office would even push for that, but they would be crazy not to consider it

Even I think it would be a good fit.  That offense is already so anemic that Melo isn't going to slow the flow anymore than it is already.

I assumed amnestying Boozer was a foregone conclusion the moment Deng stepped in Cleveland.

Thibs could potentially coach Melo at the Garden if you believe the CAA ties between Dolan and Thibs.

Champ, I'll buy you dinner at Clyde's Wine and Dine if the Knicks hire Thibs. Dead serious. That was the guy they should've brought in instead of Pringles.

Deal. Could always go for good NY Strip.

I'd have to return the favor with some bar hopping in Hell's Kitchen.

Teams were stubborn about Thibs for whatever reason. I'd only take Pop and Doc over him. The second I'm not so sure anymore.

Sounds good

Feels like a chore getting ready to watch these Knicks tonight. Hopefully they actually try.
StubHub is clutch for snipes hour before tip.

Did I just witness a love connection in this thread :nerd:
