Can't believe its the midway point of the season :wow:.

bold prediction for 2nd half?

Asik gets traded for Varejao and Waiters. Varejao and Waiters becomes highly productive bringing more production to the bench. Asik continues to milk his "deep thigh bruise" and sits out the rest of the season, causing more turmoil for his new teammates.

Kevin Love is 4th in the NBA in scoring, yet 60th in 4th quarter scoring. The team is 0-10 in games decided by 4 or less

Very telling stat
Rook is known as a heat hater.. dude used to troll the hell outta our thread...

Man that was when ya'll started off the season like 10-11 in lebrons first year lol.

I will say, and this is due to me betting on NBA games and players stats, tha TWolves blowout alot of teams and Love sits the entire 4th. Most of their wins have been blowouts
I wouldn't say a lot, they aren't even in the playoffs. And beyond that, the 0-10 stat encompasses games where he would be active in the 4th, and ultimately end up being L's.

Bold predictions for 2nd half of the season:

- Nets crank it up even more after all-star break like the Celtics used to do.

- Blazers come down to earth a little and let up towards the end of the season.

- Phoenix drops out of the playoff race.

- Race for 8th in West will come down to Wolves, Denver and Memphis. I expect Denver to get the seed. If Dallas falls off then most likely Memphis with Marc back.

- Rondo/Granger/Noah aren't going to be traded. In fact, I see no big trades in store.

- All East playoff seeds will finish with a positive record.

EDIT:

Forgot to say

- Knicks won't make the playoffs.

- Asik won't be traded or if he is, then it'll be under extreme circumstances to some horrible east t eam.

asik is not worth these pieces people be saying

at all
I agree. He is worth something, but not some huge amount. He is a solid center than can start for most teams, but I wouldn't say he is a top center.

What are the Pacers plans for Granger? They wont be able to keep him and Lance when it comes time for signing, but it doesnt look like they plan on trading him either. Guess theyre just going to gear up for a title run and then let him walk?

Asik is still a very good defensive center. I think morey asking too much could be a blessing in disguise. We keep him this season and him and lin fortify our bench. Then next year, he has an attractive contract because it's an expiring 15 million

That's all they can do quite frankly. Only a sucker would take Granger at this point at his current price.

Rondo's trade value is also overrated considering that teams don't even know if he's going to be as productive.
