It's not even a month into 2014 and there's a bunch of contenders for Gif of the Year

Wow, I didn't realize he never had surgery to repair his ACL, only his meniscus. The Nuggets thought his ACL could heal on its own. This seems like quite a screw-up on their part.

If it was a complete ACL tear, then yeah, they messed up. The ACL has only limited capacity to heal on its own, so bypassing surgery would have only made sense if it was a partial tear. I had a partial ACL tear and opted not to have surgery and was able to get back to playing ball just through physical therapy, but my surgeon told me that would not have worked if it was a full tear.

This is kind of funny. Must make Pau feel pretty old.

Rotoworld saying it was a partial tear.

Really sucks for Denver. That's 2 playoff runs he'll have missed.

I don't even think about it. Mostly because I assume Lance would have been traded at some point if the Knicks drafted him.
It's entirely possible he could be... but would you trust him right now with that responsibility? Say he keeps up his play through the rest of the season. You're a team with cap space and you need a number 2 to pair alongside your franchise guy. Are you prepared to give Lance 10-12 million a year (the numbers some people have been throwing out)?

If he's made a breakthrough and his game improves, it's a good value and investment.. but I'm worried it's a combination of a "right place, right time" perfect situation in Indy + a contract year.

It's going to be a HUGE gamble on Lance, but it could be one that pays dividends. He's flourishing in Indy. Could be one of two things to attribute that to. 1. The environment. 2. He might be maturing. We just don't know, and this is why I think it's going to be a gamble on him. Personally, I think that there is nothing holding Lance Stephenson back from being a legit #2 option other than Lance Stephenson. He's gotten better each year and I think he will justify the contract he'll eventually earn this upcoming summer (barring injury).

This dude Wade appears to be aging like Steve Francis. Look at all the other dudes that were drafted with him still jumping out the gym and he looks like he's on par to retire with Kobe or sooner

Nuggets are morons, knew something was up when they said last year it wasnt actually torn :smh:

first time ive even seen his name on a story or anything since his injury.

Nuggets :smh:

Spurs @ Miami on ABC on Sunday I think this is when they start playing a little serious going into the break then at OKC

Wade going to retire if MIA wins the title this season, his knees have been done since last year.

He doesn't have anything left to prove or accomplish, just wish he won an MVP during his prime years.
