60 point games in general are always jaw dropping

All the truly GOAT level scorers have to had 60 at some point, and it was fitting Lebron got his

And all the birds trying to discredit this game by saying "it's the Bobcats tho" really must not play ball to score 60 at any given moment is incredibly difficult

So you don't think dantoni system have anything to do with Jeremi Lin shine? Dantoni deserve credit imo. He let Lin play the Nash role. Ball in Lin hand 85%.Basically pick and roll on every possession, lob to chandler or pass to open shooter. The ball didn't stop moving. Very Similar to Nash era in Phoenix. Melo fat ball stopping behind came back and ruin It. Steve Blake was trash under mike brown all sudden he became much more productive under dantoni. Kendall Marshall was out the league now he's out there racking up assists consistently.
I don't think D'Antoni had much to do with Lin's shine at all. And the reason why? The system didn't help anyone else eat that season, the real reason why Lin went off was because he was extremely confident and Melo was out. Any PG can get big stats running the PnR but very rarely does it get you anywhere, and D'Antoni is also a terrible defensive coach so he doesn't get you Ws.

Wolf of Wall Street was exactly what I was thinking of after seeing that Blake Griffin gif, and sure enough in the spoiler

This is why people get upset over Lebron the amount od credit he gets is over the top.... ESPN ran his monologue for 13 MINUTES straight on sportscenter. Interviews, Charts, highlights, guest commentary all for a regular season game against a mediocre squad. 60 is impressive but you would think that the man did something historic the way they made an event out of it and it disgust me.

Tim Legler then goes on to say as good as a month KD had in January, Lebron is having a better February..... When in reality KD is still having a better month than Lebron as of this moment. I hope he comes out and drops 60+ on someones head tonight and see if he gets 25% of sporscenter time.

I actually think now Lebron will get the MVP again, that amount of press you mention above will be one of the reasons for it

Melo didn't even get this much love when he did the same thing against the Bobcats .. I guess those 5 assist Lebron had compared to Melo's 0 was the big difference :smh:

What would LBJ have to do to make you give him credit? The guy deserves every bit of press that he's getting. Do you realize he just dropped 61 on damn near 70% shooting and hit 8 3s in a row against A TOP 5 DEFENSE? That "it's the Bobcats though" argument is ******ed. Numbers don't lie, and no wing player has ever had numbers like that while being that efficient. On top of him winning 2 MVPs in a row AND 2 rings in a row, dude deserves every second of airtime he gets. What other story were they going to talk about tonight? Tony Romo reworking his contract?

I swear Bron would have to drop 101 without missing a shot to get credit from some of y'all :smh:

so do you think this performance was special enough to Stop the sports world and have commentary from A slew of different analyst based off something that has happened as recently as last month?

The analyst are stating "facts" that aren't true in order to boost his status,

like what?

dude put up 61pts on damn near 70% shooting

its kind of a big deal

Melo did it on friday night when all Superbowl coverage was going on.

Lebron did it on Monday night when there is currently no big headlines going on.

Lebron is also arguably this biggest star in sports and Melo is not.

How do y'all not understand this? ESPN isn't in the business of being fair to players, giving them equal air time etc.

LeBron is the most popular basketball player on the planet right now. Anytime they get a chance to plaster his face on the screen, they're going to.

Son said "facts" like ESPN is making it up  how in the hell is a fact a lie?

Tim Legler claimed that Lebron's February was better than KD's january

Lebron February - 30, 6 & 8 on 57%
KD February - 33, 7 & 7

Kd's January - 36, 6, & 6 on 55%

Obviously both are playing at a great level but durant has been the Best player all year long, has had to carry more of a load and in Lebron's BEST stretch of games this season he's still not playing at a level that durant isn't.

Lebron is a great player but the media is trying to give him MJ recognition w/o MJ dominance. Because the man dropped 60 on the bobcats doesn't suddenly mean he deserves the MVP over the better player this year.

no i'm having a discussion on why his performance is being over valued..... you are a Cavs fan, a team who drafted Dion Waiters & Anthony Bennett your saltiness levels are exponentially higher than mine by default.
