If KD isn't a superstar, then LeBron wasn't until 2012. That is all.

Rings don't mean your not a superstar. How quick we forget Lebron had the best record in the NBA two years strait with a subpar team and made the Finals. That team may have been the 2nd worse Finals team only behind AIs Sixers. KD had Westbrook and Harden (although he disappeared) when he made the Finals. A big 3 of his own of sorts.

missed free throws + we just didn't get stops late. a little poor defense, and a little of portland just hitting tough shots.

Mchale really is clueless . I thought dudes were just playing the blame game

i tried to tell yall

he really just rolls the ball out and lets them play. notice how many times late game we just went into harden isolations.

I just said that as a joke...

of course I'm serious...

Congrats buddy u probably jinxed your team now. Watch houston win the next 4.

If it wasnt for dwight bricking free throws you would be crying right now
i think he's a wizards fan

unless it's his rockets, his wizards :nerd:

nah he's just been saying the rockets don't belong in the same gym as portland

it took 46 from aldridge, another 31 from dame, harden to have arguably his worst game ever, and weird officiating throughout to win by 2 points in overtime. but the rockets don't belong :rolleyes

So after saying it's the rings that don't make KD a superstar you come back and say this? C'mon man

No he wouldn't. If Jordan never won any titles he wouldn't be JORDAN. We all know these are teams sports but lets not act like we don't compare individual players ALL THE TIME. Every sports convo can end in the team sport argument. We give individuals credit for greatness when they win but it's on the team when they lose though? If they accept the credit for winning they need to own the loses too, right or wrong.
That's a terrible generalization, individual performance is not based on a win or loss. Isiah Thomas dropped 25 in one quarter on one leg, and he still lost. Does he deserve to have his legacy discounted?

Sometimes... we don't have a debate/argument just to have a debate/argument. I know having another superstar debate is awfully enticing, but it's ok to let it pass every now and then.

honestly if teague can do that 2 more times they could fold it in on g4

Agreed.

I also think it depends on Hibbert. If he keeps putting up them Jason Collins numbers I don't see them having a chance.

I'd be crazy to see a 2nd round match up of ATL vs. Washington. NOBODY would've predicted that

OKC had the 2nd best record last year, and had a margin of victory at almost 10 points a game, led by KD's 50-40-90 statline, and was all set to be in the finals last year if not for Russ's injury. KD been a star since his first scoring title, but he's been a superstar since getting to the finals 2 years ago.

I still have the pacers winning that series

I would have agreed with this still if I didn't see the Indy attitudes in the post game interviews. Their attitude is so awful, they look like they don't care if they win or lose. Lol, I know they are about to destroy my bracket, I know that

Edit: sometimes "attitude is everything"

i say if because he did that ONE game vs chicago & then got ghost....if he can put up a repeat performance or 2 they will take it

while i did say WAS would give the bulls issues im not 100% sold on them winning the whole series.... i still have bulls v indy unless both teams go down 0-2

I still have the pacers winning that series

oh yeah press conf at 4pm for Chicago

thinking jo gets DPOY & taj might be getting something also

Yeah, Indy's attitude is horrible though. I swear this is the Danny Granger curse

As a DC area resident I was pretty sure the Wiz didn't have a chance against Chicago. But winning game one with Beal AND Wall shooting horribly...I dunno man. Its not like the bulls can put up more points  so unless their interior defense really kicks in gear they're in trouble.

No because he's a 2 time champion. His legacy is cemented. That's one game. I'm talking over the corse of years in the league. I don't care how great someone is at some point the passes stop. CP3 is an example. 9 years in and playoff failure. He's a great player but a some point when do we stop blaming everyone else and look at him. In NO it was his team. Then it was Vinny now what's the problem?
