I'm just curious...when did it become the it thing to do to discredit a player by how far they've gone in the playoffs?

Playoffs are all about matchups. Losing in the 1st, 2nd, conference finals, finals. Does not matter. Still a loss.

I remember the days when we really appreciated a players talent's. Would love to see how you guys viewed half the hall of famers that have never won.

Melo is judged by this constantly in here, by the majority. Like he's had the best team and just lost because he's a bum. The better team usually wins, to discredit the player individually based on that is.....well that's just not normal

Thats not really relevant, maybe he is a choker, but the point you made was that he's useless when you put a big defender on him.

That point is indisputable wrong, he's given work to all of them.

Chris Paul the best defensive PG in the game though..

you can get the same defensive production from pat beverly for under a mil

CP isnt even the third best defender on his team

patrick beverly's defensive rating, per pro basketball reference, was 108 this year, and 105 last year.

in 9 years chris paul has had a defensive rating higher than 105 only once.

i don't know why you hate chris paul so much, but at least mask your blatant bias with a couple of facts here and there.

at the end of the day hes not good enough to lead his team to a championship (or the finals). him being top 3 is a joke
