If OKC won the chip and Russ got MVP this board would explode and hella crow would be consumed by many. I rooting for it to happen as well.

KD would do so well with Wall or Rondo or a Chris Paul
when has he done bad with russ ? lol ......i sware i cant talk sports with people......the ball has to fall through the hoop at the end of the day ....russell westbrook knocks down 2 more of those 3's he was chucking up and all of a sudden people would be saying hes more important than KD

In on the Joakim Noah overrated talk. My God.

This dude put up virtually the same numbers as last year, with Damn near the same record..... And you got people calling him a top 5 player and MVP candidate lmao.

Last year: "Kd cant win without russ, see how important he is" & now: "okc will never win with russ," yall ****** is confusing
the thunder are pretty much a two man team. it exposed how bad they were without westbrook last postseason, no one on the team wanted to step up and just wanted to watch KD do everything on his own. now this year it's just back to the same old "westbrook shoots too much" talk, the rest of the team are just useless.

It's really not this black and white though. It's not just "Westbrook taking more shots than Durant, he's a point guard so he shouldn't be taking more shots than durant" it honestly isn't that simple at all that's why I call this lazy criticism. There's a reason why Westbrook ends up taking as many or more shots than Durant on occasion.

Fine I'll analyze it more.

Westbrook takes bad shots. Those running down the lane 1-on-3 layups..bad, low percentage. When they go in, GREAT, but most of the time..they don't. Running pull up 3's, nope..makes 1 out of every 5 at best.

I've been watching OKC consistantly for the past 3 years, the amount of passes Westbrook misses to a open Durant would make any other coach's head spin. At one point even KD was obviously frustrated with him.

I respect Westbrook's talent, but he plays like a kid doped up on 3 red bulls. If he slowed down just a bit he'd move to that next level.

And yes..i do recognize some of his bad shots are because the clock is running down and nobody gets open. But those do NOT represent most of the bad shots he takes..at all.

The media just loves to slurp the "scrappy" bulls.

Especially the Bill Simmons types.
