I was hopin to see the blazers and rockets both make a run into the playoffs, love lillard and am rooting for Howard, sucks they play each other. But I do hope the rockets come out on top just so the Dwight slander is at a minumum

That Clippers team wasn't exactly wonderful. At a certain point you have to just do something and stop making excuses.
What's important is they were not even competitive in most of those series.
Clippers beat them 4-1. (1st round)
Spurs beat them 4-1. (1st round)
Lakers beat them 4-0 (1st round)
Lakers beat them 4-2 (WCF, good season overall. By far Melo's best ever.)

People act like Dwert was lighting the world on fire, he's made 1 NBA Finals where he got gentleman swept. Another ECF where he lost and got swept in the 1st round last year and in 2007. He ain't did **** either. And if he goes out in the 1st round again this year...we should revisit this conversation.

If MKG develops a perimeter shot he could be a damn good player. He doesn't have to be a knockdown shooter, but at least have a good enough shot where the defense has to guard you.
