on the bright side, Dallas lost to Houston 2x, in 2007 then went to Houston and won 2 in a row (the Yao screen controversy where JVG claimed to have insider info that the refs are calling in favor of Dallas) then Dallas went on to the finals so its possible.... but then I remember James Harden is not PRIME Dirk.

I've seen what I need to see here

lmao. Yea i think Skuuurt is on the list of people you just laugh at when they post

I know it looks bad for Houston but I still think if they win game 3 the series is still wide open. Going to be a tough task against that Portland crowd though...

I agree. Portland relies too much on the jumpshot (yea Houston does too)  But there is no way you can say Houston is dead right now

Fact: Put DJ Augustin in Westbrook's place and watch OKC and Durant win a championship.

Note: I didn't say Augustin is better than Westbrick so sensitive fan boys don't over react.
Bruh how is it a "fact" if it hasn't happened

R U dumb? Facts doesn't necessarily have to happen first before it becomes a fact. Go do your homework. This is how I know there are bunch of highschool kids in this board

This would be ideal for the Thunder.

Move Reggie Jackson to the Point and Westbrook to the 2

Problem solved
Then it becomes WORST for them. As long as you have Westbrook on your team you're not going to win
Worse*

Worse*
What? SMH There are really ignorant folks in here. It's already worse, if you put reggie jackson to 1 then it becomes worst. man SMH
for those that dont know

On postgame notes distributed by the Rockets' staff, one line reads "Rockets are 0-6 in the playoffs when Harden attempts 19 or more FGAs."

cant blame it all on harden though, apparently steve francis was at the game tonight. thats just asking for bad luck

Its painful to watch the rockets. Looks like its being coach by mike brown. Howard yelling at Lin to give him the ball was funny tho..dude decided to be aggressive when its only 2 mins left in the game ..Hardens body language says it all.. I hope they bounce back anyway..

The team is clearly on edge. That was no more evident in the Rockets' newly renovated, state-of-the-art, $7 million locker room where Harden had a contentious verbal exchange with a longtime media member who asked about his 14-of-47 (29.8 percent) shooting mark in this series.

Harden flatly said he wasn't worried about his offense.

"It's basketball," Harden said. "You're going to miss shots. It's basketball, that's it."

The interview session moved on, Harden calmly answered additional questions from other reporters. The Rockets' line of flat-screen TVs scrolled through the team's statistical ranks on the season, including their defensive efficiency rank of 13th. Harden focused on the Rockets' defense as their downfall in Game 2.

"I'm not worried about my offense, I'm worried about our defense -- our defense as a team," Harden said.

A few minutes later, the questions stopped coming, but not before Harden, evidently still aggravated, circled back and spun the questioning to the aforementioned reporter, taking issue with his basketball credibility.

"You've never seen someone shoot 29 percent in two games? You must not watch basketball."

The longtime reporter responded that he'd watching basketball longer than Harden had been alive. And that Harden should be held to a higher standard because he is All-NBA.

"Weirdo," Harden said, before walking out of the room once Houston's PR staff stepped in.

I haven't gotten a chance to watch Game 2 yet, but I'm incredibly optimistic for a few reasons.

We've had double-digit leads in both fourth quarters thus far.

Tonight, we closed it out. HARD. I was listening in the second half, and seemed like the defense was really there tonight. Tony and Timmy apparently weren't as great as they were in G1.

But the most important thing to me about this series so far?

Dirk has played atrociously by his standards, yet we only lost by five in G1, and in G2, we dominated in the second half where he shot 7/19.

That makes me comfortable knowing that we have guys stepping up that can win us games when Dirk is not on. This isn't against the Utah's or Minnesota's either, this is against top-dog San Antonio.

This is why I wasn't worried about potentially facing the Thunder. We play really well, but it's dependent on our role players. Dirk has a much easier time against a team like OKC, but San Antonio gives him fits, because they are better coached.

Monta, Marion, Devin, Jose all having great games tonight is really uplifting for our chances. Keeping San Antonio to just 92 points when they shoot 50% is amazing too. I'm excited for Saturday.

Fran Blinebury has been rustling jimmies in Houston longer than Harden has been alive but he's right, Harden should be held to an higher standard.

He's just not playing well right now.

No,

A lot of these reporters troll these players so they can have a story. Everybody knows that.

Oh most definitely. But for him to come back around to that reporter after seemingly moving on from that question just to snap at him is funny to me. Like, c'mon son.

If you don't want to give a reporter the time of day, hit em with the canned robot responses and bounce. Learn from Rasheed

So what does James Harden do now? Does he realize he has to go to the rim with the mindset to finish and not just get to the line? Become more of a playmaker like his early role in OKC was and be more selective about his shots? He's too talented to just fail to adjust.
