Those stats doesn't mean he's getting stopped.

Right?
If you're taking 21 shots per playoff game and only making 9, then you are being stopped to the extent that it's probably better for someone else (like average teammates) to be shooting the ball.

If you are that inefficient (and well below average efficiency), then clearly you are being guarded...  Or guarding yourself with your shot selection.

Like I said...Houston's looking to add a 3rd piece...not swap one for another. I think they'll pursue melo, but they should find some miraculous way to land love. Pau might be a last resort but he wouldn't be a major 3rd piece at this point of his career.

The best person at stopping Melo is Melo himself. No one man is stopping his variety of moves in a single game...

I believe whoever is in charge keeps tally and the refs don't get to ref more games or something to that effect.

How in the **** does Melo fit with Dwight More? he's a scorer and takes ill advised shots as much as harden, he's still an average defender most of the time, and he's not gonna create more for Howard than Harden does.

Houston needs a better PF and a Veteran PG who can take the pressure off of Harden

relax on the james harden trade talk, not gonna happen. it's just two gms. houston is more than capable of going into portland and winning. these teams are so evenly matched. you telling me lamarcus is gonna continue to be this hot and james is gonna be this cold? if so, portland deserves to win. to me, things will go back to the norm and i still think houston will win this series.

You would disagree with 24 million being a huge difference?

You're quite the Mathematician pal. It's a little over a 10 million difference. 4 vs 5 years dude

A bottom line of 54 million vs 78 million is 10 million? Interesting.

It's on Harden right now. There's no doubt about that.

this. If he even shows up to the first two games, we're halfway to a sweep even with Aldridge torching us.

Didn't most people think Houston needed just one more piece anyway?

Yes, but to be a championship caliber team. Not to get out of the first round. How the team handles McHale, Lin, and Asik this off-season really dictates our future.

Also, can anyone that's advocating the rockets look into trading harden for melo just mention my username so I can report it as spam and then block you?

I've read lots of stupid **** in this thread, but trading a 24 year old not even entering his prime for a 30 year old Carmelo Anthony takes the cake.

I think the piece to look at is Milsap in Atlanta, unloading Asik and/or Lin this summer to do it.

i think parsons cheap contract will have to be involved if they want a BIG name. morey has to consider it, no team is gonna want lin or asik by themselves. jones/chandler have to be involved

Whoa.

I never said trading Melo for harden was a good idea.

It's quite dumb, just saying what the problems would be.

Wasn't mentioning you specifically, but did see some names actually say it's a good idea.

Dwight quietly putting up 30/15/4blocks in two games.

i thought houston would be bring in melo to go along with harden and howard..

basically houston would send parsons, picks and whatever else back to the knicks.. and/or they would have to find someone to unload lin's and asik's contracts on

Houston Rockets is the worst coached team in the West. It's extremely frustrating watching a team that plays like they have no basketball IQ. From the poor shots being hoisted up with 20 secs left on the clock to their poor defensive rotation or help. This basketball team doesn't play winning basketball. From the coaching standpoint, there are virtually no in-game adjustments. But with that said, this series is long ways from being over and the Rockets could easily been up 2-0, if a few things went their way. I still see this series going 6 or 7 games.

Its all on Harden right now. Dude is just the epitome of 3pt chuck. Atleast try to play D when you're dumb step back 3 isnt falling.

Dwight is playing amazing right now. Glad he's somewhat "back."

You guys are really clueless  Melo had a better year defensively than Lebron this year and has been a beast since he's been moved to the 4.

A bottom line of 54 million vs 78 million is 10 million? Interesting.

I think what he's saying is that it's 54 mil for 4 years and 78 mil for 5 so it'd only be a $24 mil diff over an equal 5 years if he got paid $0 for a 5th year. If he got paid $14 mil for a 5th year when signing a new contract, then he ends up getting $68 over 5 years which ends up being a $10 mil difference
