As far as OKC / Memphis is concerned,

I don't think the issue is brooks that much. Some of his lineups are mind boggling though, and his rotations can be "awkward" to say the least.

However, the issue IMO is Kevin Durant. Stating the obvious, but the Thunder revolve around Kevin Durant. Despite the Westbrook slander, almost everything is ran through him and for him, and Scott Brooks does actually put Durant in some pretty good positions to score. The issue is that for most of the game, Tony Allen is blowing **** up and forcing Russell And KD to take some incredibly difficult, tough shots. So in a nutshell, because everything revolves around playing through KD, when KD can't get good positioning to be effective, everything goes to hell.

That's why Memphis gives OKC so much problems. Because they blow everything OKC likes to do up into pieces and as a result, almost everything KD and Westbrook take is heavily contested.

Everything you just said plays into why Brooks is a bad coach, though.

Good coaches adjust, move pieces around, and put the proper lineups in. Right now, he's not doing any of that. Same crap over and over.

I still got faith that OKC will make the finals. The grizzles just match up real well against them.
