Back on the Donald Sterling thing, you cant really expect the players to do anything now or in the future. They work in a specialized employment area. There are only 30 employers, and they cant pay everyone. The players arent going to lose the games on purpose either, this is their livelihood. They cant do much about it, if Donald Sterling is offering them money, they have to take it.
The only person who I think has any room to say something is Doc Rivers, but he wont either.

DTS is not a good person. This is the far from the first time he's been caught saying racist crap. As a Clippers fan, I can't say anything to defend him. At the same time, I never saw the fact that he's a colossal douche as a reason not to root for the team. The players are going to play and they deserve to get supported. Not their fault the owner sucks.

Even if they can't kick Sterling out, I expect them to apply pressure and use every tool at their disposable to make it as uncomfortable as possible for him to continue owning the team.

Isn't Sterling's gf half black half Latino? Like weekday sense does that make? Inexcusable for the NBA to not take some form of action outside of a hefty fine which does nothing.

From reading some tweets that Andande wrote, he seems to be saying that because the NBA never fined him when he had to pay fines for that residential snafu and because Baylor's case got thrown out, he doubts anything will happen or will be said. Which is idiotic IMO especially coming from someone as seen as he is. So what, just because it's known how he is and what kind of person he is, we ignore any additional stupidity?

I think what Adande is saying is, the things Sterling did/said in the past were worst and the NBA didn't do a damn thing so he doesn't expect that they'll do anything now. And starting to think that Adande is right. This story got swept under the rug big time. ESPN hasn't mentioned it at all. They're pushing the Washington Capitals firing their coach instead of this. ESPN doesn't cover the NHL, who are the trying to play. Idk if its because TMZ broke the story or if the league is pressuring them no to make it a big deal.

Short of the players bringing major attention to this, it's already swept under the rug.
The league didn't show any force over Sterling being a discriminating slumlord.. they won't do anything over incredibly racist and ignorant remarks caught on tape.
