Has nothing to do w/ the average person. You think Doc Rivers didn't know who he was going to be working under when he was traded to the Clippers? It goes on and on. These guys are not ignorant to who is signing their checks. Sterling's racist ways have been WELL documented.

It's a terrible situation for them to be in, but the LAST thing I want to hear is them pleading ignorance to who Sterling was.

It doesn't matter whether he knows, its about whether he will be embarrassed or shamed for taking Donald Sterlings money, and no matter how much worse the tenant discrimination case nobody said anything about this when he was hired.

People will take the money if no one is watching.

People are watching now, it's getting embarrassing, be shocked if the players don't say stuff.

Im not saying its right,: it sucks that it takes public shaming for people to call out a racist, but thats what it takes.

The Pacers are something else.Spent all year gearing up for Miami and now are getting their *** kicked by the hawks.

Im not saying for them to quit they are making millions...im saying they need to make a stance.

I agree with taking a stance. I just don't think losing on purpose or sitting out hurts Sterling in the long run. He's used to losing enough as it is. This situation will finally be resolved this time IMO. I don't think he will survive this and maintains ownership.

Guarantee TNT will say something about this situation before the day is over.

It's too big of an issue for the NBA right now for TNT to avoid.

yeah, TNT gon say something for sure.

iont know why cats are so quick to think they won't.

most times they address things like this later that night.

This was the team that was gonna challenge Miami?

Jokes.

Miami is gonna ******* crawl to the finals.

They may be 12-0 heading into the finals.

yup, as i said last night the average person isnt reading deadspin or tmz articles

or even non espn frontpage henry abbott articles

this going mainstream is a huge deal

The NBA should just force him to sell the franchise, he's been a black eye on the league for a while, who recorded the convo tho?

Yes it does have to do with the average person. Why do you think Sterling suffered no consequences for all of his past transgressions? Because those stories weren't mainstream and weren't on social media. In this age, there is a great sense of street justice dished out by the mainstream. Sterling will face consequences for this because the average person will hear about this story by Monday. Everyone will

You're not understanding what I'm saying....I'm talking about from the Clippers players/coaches POV.

And to the bold - he's disgustingly wealthy. It's why the rich are held to a different set of standards than the average person.

He'll get heavily fined and we'll move on...until his next racist episode.

Yeah i forgot they have had long droughts of losing. I hope the players do stand they ground including DOC!

Yep.

Feel TERRIBLY sorry for the next dude in line...

Girls gonna live her whole life not being happy trying to chase money the wrong way. One of these dudes need to just smash and kick her *** out the house the next day gold digging *****.

I still remember when Kenny sat there and said turner was the difference maker and is gonna put Indy over the top.

so basically forfeit the games and at the same time impair their own careers?

do you really think that's realistic?
there was a time when this threat w a realistic reality

shame how far we think weve come

Right, not the owner, but the team, which is prominently black :smh:

This is the same ***** who said the following when a ASU frat dressed as black people for MLK day:

ASU has one of the baddest females on campus in all america and they love black dudes, i dont eemm care

Don't pay him any mind, ****** like him are just as bad as Sterling.
